Gentlemen… My husband has finally opened it, a gift from my sister-in-law, as always spot on. Wow, what a scent! I think it suits my husband’s personality very well: masculine, neat, confident and imposing, but in the sense of his marked personality, not the perfume itself. The scent is very soft; considering my husband applies more than four sprays, it remains equally soft without being overpowered by any other overwhelming perfume. It’s a very sexy fragrance that makes a woman like me want to eat him up with kisses, lock the doors so he doesn’t go where he planned to go… and well, the rest to the imagination. I think if you’re a woman and have to buy a perfume for a man but don’t know his tastes, this would be perfect: it won’t disappoint you, and I’d almost bet that when it runs out, he’ll go buy another bottle himself. For now, if my husband doesn’t buy it, I will; I always want him to smell so good. Wide trail, moderate longevity (always depends on pH). <3
Acqua Essenziale is an aquatic and woody fragrance. It opens with sharp citrus and herbal notes (including rosemary), before giving way to saline notes, perhaps marine. These marine notes combined with a woody aroma are what remain on my skin. It’s very good for warm days (like those in Mexico now) and sports activities, as it gives a sense of energy. Plus, it’s available at a very accessible price. The downside is that it lacks originality, as there are several similar fragrances on the market, some even cheaper. Nevertheless, I think it’s worth it for someone starting out with their first fragrances. I feel it’s suitable for any age.
Exquisite scent, very rich and versatile, although its longevity is poor. For the price, it’s not worth it, but if you can get it on discount, perhaps then. Go to the perfumerie and try it: the aroma is a 10/10, but it depends on whether it lasts on your skin. It has decent longevity but the projection dies after 2 hours and stays close to the skin. In short, it’s a good buy if you can get it for under $40 (it’s cheaper, but prices have risen across Latin America). Its minty note stands out, along with green and aquatic notes. Basically, these three make up the fragrance: simple yet exquisitely refreshing and seductive.
Good morning, to be honest, this fragrance caught my attention for two reasons: the price and its resemblance to Bleu de Chanel Parfum, so I bought it without expecting much. At $25, gentlemen, I can’t stop smelling it or using it: for work, for the gym, after a shower. I can’t quite explain the aroma, but it’s enchanting, smells like a man who conquers, fresh yet not intrusive, warm, and leaves a very rich scent. The trail is moderate but noticeable; sometimes I don’t even perceive it, but people walking by just say ‘you smell so good’. I’ve learned that the best fragrances aren’t about price or popularity, but what you enjoy and what captivates you. This perfume has opened my eyes personally; I really enjoy it!
Does the job, very fresh. The good thing is that, despite being a summer aquatic scent, it doesn’t smell like a 15-year-old boy, unlike many fragrances we’re used to (such as Invictus Acqua or CK One Legend Summer). It’s an aquatic scent for a mature, elegant man. It should project and last longer; as it is moderate, it remains a decent fragrance that fulfils its purpose, but nothing extraordinary.
It’s a decent, fresh fragrance perfect for summer, but nothing more. It’s extremely generic; don’t expect anything novel or groundbreaking. It has that marine note heard in many other fragrances and at one point reminds me of Acqua di Gio Profumo. Its performance is moderate, but it’s available at a very good price. Rating: 7.0/10.
I considered writing something, but the reviews from Triple H and Sebastián Lucas already say it all. It smells good, though not memorable. It’s adequate: if you wear it, you’ll look good, but it’s not essential. Fresh, decent, and modest, just right for a house with such a pedigree. It suits both young and older people. As a gift, you can never go wrong.
If you’re looking for something fresh like Aqua di Gio, you’ll love this. I wear it on any occasion and I can still smell it close to my skin after six hours. For the price, it’s a very astute purchase.
I bought it blind following the reviews and because it’s by Alberto Morillas, and I managed to get it cheap (around $30). I love it: fresh, marine, and citrusy opening, though it dries down slightly sweeter and at one stage smells very much like Versace Pour Homme (also by Morillas). It’s clean, modern, fresh, and super versatile. It projects for about two hours and lasts around five, but it’s so easy to wear that for the price, it’s worth every penny. If you like Morillas, you’ll definitely like this one.
Acqua Essenziale is exactly that touch of freshness that doesn’t overdo it or fall short. It’s neither overpowering nor weak, boasting a perfect balance where the mint shines brilliantly, blended with marine and lavender notes. It’s a summer and spring gem, ideal for daytime wear and reliable even in extreme heat. Its moderate trail and longevity are noticeable; it’s a great fragrance from Ferragamo.
This perfume seems to be a very well-made job. The rosemary opening is excellent; I’d say it’s one of the most realistic. It’s a pity it doesn’t last long, but overall, it’s a magnificent option for a hot summer, to feel fresh without bothering anyone.
A fresh, clean aquatic/marine fragrance, very comfortable, nothing intrusive or invasive, simply enchanting. I know its longevity is average and its trail isn’t very notable, but for me, it’s a simple, straightforward, and fulfilling scent, excellent for summer. The best part is it’s not very expensive; it’s still within a reasonable price range (in my city, it sells for $1,200 to $1,300 pesos).
I’ve compared it to Bleu de Chanel several times. The aquatic notes of Acqua Essenziale fade after about 10 minutes, leaving an exact clone of Bleu EDT, even with better longevity. Regarding projection, as with many fragrances, the issue is solved with more sprays: around 7, including 3 on clothes, chest, or shoulders. Totally recommended.
An absolute delight, totally satisfied with this fragrance!!!
Very, very, very similar to Versace Pour Homme, and personally, I prefer this scent; the mint combined with aquatic notes is more satisfying and provides more comfort for those hot days. Highly recommended at an unbeatable price. My wife never fails to notice when I wear it and always compliments how good it smells, which is rare; this happens with nearly 100 fragrances in my collection, but with this one, the compliment is guaranteed every time. Highly recommended!
I own the Acqua Essenziale Blu and thought buying this would give me something of the same quality, but I was wrong. To me, it smells like vinegar. Very disappointed. Nevertheless, I will buy the Acqua Essenziale Colonia as it’s on offer now and I want to complete the collection, but for now, this is the one I like the least.
The fragrance aims to leave a moderate trail of freshness along the Italian Tuscany coast. It’s a well-made, harmonious perfume. It starts with a fresh aromatic citrus burst that quickly transitions into a marine Calone scent harmonised with vetiver, giving it a mature touch. The vetiver note delivers on that promise: refreshing. Perfect for hot days and wearing to work. It lacks sensuality, yet women love it; I know several who wear it because it’s so refreshing. Morillas works hard for Italian houses, knows Mediterranean tastes perfectly, and is a master at creating clean, put-together perfumes. There are flankers, but this remains the best. It fulfils its purpose: to please you because you’re wearing it and to please others. Performance is a bit weak, but it tolerates over-application without causing issues. It has an honest price, neither very expensive nor very cheap, right in the middle, which is its virtue. I wore it when it launched and felt optimistic, but as I have acidic skin, the fresh notes turned sour on me. So I stopped wearing it. However, I enjoy smelling it on clothes. A true Tuscany perfume.
It’s perfect for exploring Italian perfumery. It smells very fresh due to the mint combined with aquatic accords; quite masculine. On me, the performance isn’t spectacular, but it’s moderate, and considering its good price, it seems like a great buy for spring-summer. From the Acqua Essenziale collection, my favourite is Colonia, then this one, and finally Blu. God’s Plan 🦉
To my nose, it bears a slight resemblance to Bleu de Chanel Eau de Parfum! It smells wonderful with good skin performance, though projection is its weak point. The scent is very good and fresh, as summery as it gets. Don’t be put off by the chaotic and simple opening; the magic lies in the dry-down. Wow, I really liked it. At under $30 (Guadalajara, Mexico), I think it’s a bargain; I receive compliments almost every time I wear it. I highly recommend it. PS: This is a very personal opinion, experience, and taste.
When sprayed, it’s slightly sweet, reminding me of CK Eternity Aqua: fresh, soapy and clean. As it dries, it becomes herbal and aquatic, like Issey Miyake L’Eau Bleue but clearer. It starts modern and youthful, maturing with time, always fresh. It’s a pleasant scent, though very light, so you need to apply generously to get projection. The projection is decent, creating an aromatic bubble for the first hour and then staying within arm’s reach. Performance and longevity are average, about 3 to 5 hours.
I absolutely love it. Longevity isn’t its strong suit, but it’s equally enjoyable. The dry-down is impressive; it’s worlds apart from the opening. Totally recommended.
I met it in 2014 in Liverpool, Guadalajara. A saleswoman recommended I try it for its similarity to Bvlgari Aqva, but I thought it was better. I bought it, but in an accident the bottle broke. The next day I bought another and noticed the longevity and projection had dropped, so I took two. This is the fifth bottle, and although the performance isn’t the same as the first batch, the scent remains intact: sharp citrus/marine at first, then like gin with citrus peels and rosemary over vetiver. Ideal for the beach or summer breakfasts. It’s in my top 5 (recently surpassed by Hacivat and Layton). 9.5/10.
What a delight! It was love at first sniff. It’s a marine scent that defines a sophisticated and neat man. Concrete and charming. I fell in love with its simplicity; it’s summery with sweet, citrusy touches and a light salty note. At first, there’s the acidity of mint and lemon which then turns sweet with labdanum. Everything harmonises to create a sweet spicy scent. Fixation and trail are moderate; more projection requires 8 or 10 sprays. Easy to wear, noble and recommended for its price.
Nice fragrance! I feel it fresh and woody. My wife likes it; I wear it for formal meetings and outdoor outings. I detect rosemary, mint and lemon leaves. It’s fresh and marine. It lasts me more than 8 hours.
Good scent, rich, fresh, elegant and pleasant, easy to like and generates compliments. On my skin it lasts about 5 hours with a projection of 2, but if you apply more than 6 sprays, it performs well. For the price, you can’t ask for more. Value for money 8/10.
It’s like a lighter, citrusier Bleu de Chanel. The dry-down is identical. If you don’t have the budget for the original, this is a good economical alternative. I own both, and although Bleu surpasses it, I absolutely love this one.
Excellent. Smells 95% like Chanel Blue but at a quarter of the price. Totally recommended.
Reminds me of a blend of Dylan Blue and Versace Pour Homme. It lasts about 6 or 7 hours, is affordable and does the job. It’s not the best in the world, but for its price, it’s good. Super versatile for everyday wear, though more recommended in warm climates.
Perfect for when it’s very hot.
Smells of sea and mint from the very first spray, perfect for hot weather. It lasts between 3 and 5 hours, less than Aqua Di Gio, and its projection is soft; however, for the price, it does its job and is a highly recommended fresh option.
It happens to me the same as with Aqua Di Gio. That marine note makes the smell very synthetic and not pleasant for me. I don’t know if it’s my skin’s pH, but it just doesn’t work. If you want something from Alberto Morillas that is fresh, elegant, subtle and different: Lanvin L’Homme. Another level.
Something similar happens with me and this fragrance. At first, I couldn’t define its notes; I thought it had orange. With daily wear, I realised that the blend of lavender, mint and marine notes creates that effect. For the first time, I agree with those who say it has an air of Bleu de Chanel. It’s not a clone, of course, but at some point it reminds you of that fragrance. I think it doesn’t evolve much; from the start, lavender, mint and rosemary are the protagonists, and when the marine notes fade, vetiver comes in and stays until it’s gone. Conclusion: very good for daytime wear and almost any season, at least here with a temperate climate. In cold environments, it disappears very quickly.
Something curious happened with this freshly opened perfume. I bought it online on offer for 350 pesos, about twenty dollars. At first, it gave me a strange blend, but after fifteen minutes the notes settled and a very pleasant aroma emerged that I’d smelled before. I went to look through my bottles and was surprised by the resemblance to ADG Profumo, a discontinued gem. They aren’t identical, but that characteristic rosemary note from Profumo is here. It also has a slight resemblance to Profondo. I compared them side by side and was surprised. It’s an excellent perfume at a very good price, although its performance is average. For the price, it’s well worth having.
In my city, it’s extremely hot all year round (Sonora Desert, Mexico). Acqua Essenziale is ideal for daily wear, perfect for this climate and even pairs brilliantly with my sunscreen. A marvel at a bargain price.
It’s a work of art. I can smell the mint and marine notes from start to finish. The trail isn’t the best, projecting for no more than four hours, but the scent… it’s another level. It’s among the best in fresh perfumes and is one of the ones I’ve received the most compliments on in my collection.
I love it. It reminds me of perfumes I’ve mentioned before without being a clone of any of them; it has its own path. Very fresh, clean, the notes blend well, it has something elegant and that Italian style. The projection isn’t strong, leaving a medium trail, and sometimes it generates compliments. The duration isn’t the best, hovering around five hours like other citrus scents.
I like it in person, but I don’t love it. I feel it lacks punch; it’s just fresh and blue, though it’s lovely when it dries down.
I like it, but it lacks strength. It seems to want to take off, but after two or three hours, it’s gone completely.
It leans more towards the Bleu de Chanel EDT than the Blu in its own range. It’s a brilliant option compared to Chanel for a fraction of the price. It’s hugely underrated, very good, and you can buy it blind without fear.
It’s a classic that doesn’t go unnoticed, with its own distinct style. Smells of mint, with hints of the sea and that rosemary that makes it delicious. The projection lasts about an hour and a half; on skin it lingers for around six hours, though sometimes it’s barely noticeable. It’s received many compliments.
