  In my view, it’s quite soft. It doesn’t smell bad, but it’s not my style. It’s a talc-heavy fragrance where the iris note is so dominant it almost eclipses the rest. There’s a strange detail I can’t quite identify for certain. I find it a bit oily, so be careful with clothes. And although it’s soft, I think it’s more suited for colder months.

  First, let me clarify this is my opinion after using the Aegyptus shower gel from the same line, not the perfume itself. It smells of iris, talc, and sweet powder, a hard-to-predict blend: warm, ambered, floral, with a musky, spiced oriental iris. While the oud might seem heavy, here it’s airy and ethereal, thanks to modern aldehydes that avoid a dusty old vibe. It’s super original; it doesn’t smell like anything else. I give it 10 because for this price, it’s a beast: brand, fragrance, ingredients, and that divine, heavy bottle. There’s no need to spend on fakes or cheap, dubious inspirations; I’ve seen niche scents costing 20 times more that smell worse. In the end, it’s a matter of personal taste.
