A cheap and delicious fragrance. The aluminium bottle atomises brilliantly, and mine is prettier than in the photo: black with copper arabesques. I like the metallic feel and the light weight compared to glass. It opens with citrus and almond; the description says apricot blossom, but I’d say it’s a pure almond note. Then come the white florals: neroli and a diffuse jasmine, with green touches of leaves or woods. As it dries down, the almond and vanilla tone that was hinting at becomes stronger. The musk is noticeable but moderate. It’s of the clean kind. I bought a batch of four and this is the best for me. Moderate longevity, lasting on clothes until the next day. It has an undeniable resemblance to Cinema, though it’s not the same.
It resembles Cinema after the fifth minute, but here the lemon is more prominent. Is it worth it? Its projection and longevity are minimal, but it serves well for freshening up after a shower or for layering. P.S.: I’ve discovered that mixed with Girl of Now, it works wonderfully. 😍😘
It starts very citrusy, especially orange, with a slightly plastic touch. Then, after a few minutes, the bitter orange blossom becomes realistic, like being under the tree watching the little white flowers. It’s pleasant and evokes those landscapes for me. After two hours, the amber takes over. I don’t detect the almond, perhaps it’s a subtle dust floating among the flowers, a very secondary note. I enjoy it, but I’m not 100% sure I’ll repurchase. I prefer Thalasso Therapy or Byzantium from the house.
It’s the third treasure I’ve tried; while the first two were wonderful, this one hasn’t been my luck. It doesn’t smell bad and is decent, but I expected something more oriental, like Bizantium. I thought it would be almond, wood, and citrus, but for me, it’s purely citrus and jasmine all the way through; I don’t detect any vanilla or amber. Furthermore, with White Musk and Bizantium, my expectations for projection and longevity were very high, but this barely registers, smelling more like baby perfume. Worth a try, but I won’t be buying it again.
