About Ahlaamak
Ahlaamak: Green Citrus Turning to Dark Spice
Ahlaamak by Ard Al Zaafaran is a Spicy Oriental fragrance for Women and Men. It follows a legible path, starting luminous and settling into something warmer and darker.
Citrus and galbanum lead, an aromatic heart follows, and leather, tobacco and tonka bean form the foundation. Spice runs through each stage without heaviness.
At the top are bergamot, mandarin and galbanum. The bergamot and mandarin offer bright, juicy citrus, while galbanum contributes a vegetal, faintly bitter greenness that holds back any early sweetness.
The middle brings anise, olive blossom, nutmeg and guaiac wood. Anise lends a chilled, liqueur-like spiced lift, nutmeg warms in a restrained way, and olive blossom adds a discreet floral softness. Guaiac wood supplies a dry, lightly smoked timber note that eases the shift downwards.
Underneath lie leather, tobacco and tonka bean. Leather gives backbone and dryness, tobacco a thick, gently sweet heat, and tonka bean an almond-vanilla roundness. The drydown feels cosy, woody and temperately sweet.
Taken together, the scent is citrus, fresh-spiced, green and aromatic to begin with, becoming sweeter, woodier and faintly floral, with anise, leather and tobacco as markers. A unisex creation with firm presence, best enjoyed in cooler air and after dark.
It will appeal to those who favour a shared spiced oriental with a crisp opening and a shadowed base. Particularly suited to lovers of anise, galbanum greenery and a leather and tobacco accord mellowed by tonka bean.
Ahlaamak finishes with logic: citrus brightness, aromatic seasoning and a warm, grained base. A characterful choice within the Ard Al Zaafaran catalogue, balancing crispness and depth.
