About Albaz
Albaz: A Cosy Oriental Floral with an Earthy Edge
From Ard Al Zaafaran, Albaz is an oriental floral made for men. It starts with a fresh, citrussy lift before turning creamier, woodier and altogether warmer.
There is a clear journey here, from sparkling bergamot and unusual earthiness through gentle blossoms to a soft, balsamic trail of woods and vanilla.
Up top are truffle, bergamot, citrus and ylang-ylang. The citrus notes keep things bright and clean, while truffle lends a damp, soil-like nuance that sets the opening apart. Ylang-ylang adds a smooth, yellow-floral richness.
The middle is orchid and lotus blossom. Powdery and faintly aquatic, it smooths away the initial freshness and gives Albaz a calm, refined centre with no sharp greenness.
Underneath sit sandalwood, patchouli, incense, vetiver, chocolate and vanilla. Patchouli and vetiver supply dry, earthy structure, incense brings a whisper of resin, and sandalwood, chocolate and vanilla create a sweet, enveloping finish.
As it develops, the scent becomes softer and more comforting on the skin. It feels best suited to evenings and chilly months, when its warmth and rounded texture can properly unfold.
For men who enjoy woody orientals softened by flowers and finished with gentle sweetness. It will suit anyone after a cosy, evening-leaning scent with balsamic depth.
Albaz moves from citrus and truffle through orchid and lotus to sandalwood, incense, chocolate and vanilla. A rounded, warming oriental floral with plenty of evening appeal.
