Descripción
Cacharel's Amor Amor Eau de Parfum is a fruity floral fragrance for women. This creation, launched in 2024, is a new addition to the collection. The nose behind this composition is Dora Baghriche. The top notes unfold a vibrant freshness with pear, blackcurrant and pink grapefruit; the heart reveals a romantic florality with red rose, lily of the valley and jasmine; while the base notes provide warmth and longevity with vanilla, white musk and cedar.

I was surprised to find out an Eau de Parfum had been released for the classic Love Love and when I tried it I was greatly disappointed. I can’t find any resemblance to the original EDT and besides it barely lasted. The sillage is low too. I wouldn’t recommend it; the original Love Love is better without a doubt.
I just bought it because I’m a fan of the Eau de Toilette. It’s intense you can really feel the creamy/juicy pear and a sweetness I think comes from the lily. I don’t feel it’s my absolute favourite yet but it’s addictive to smell. I’ll try it and then update the longevity and sillage.
I went to clear up my doubts by comparing it with the EDT and they are worlds apart. The EDT is much richer. The Parfum is simpler and different frankly. I didn’t like it at all. The EDT has a host of notes you can smell them all and it’s ultra-feminine.
It doesn’t smell anything like the EDT. The original is very well balanced and has a very soft sensual touch that makes it versatile. However the EDP is much fruitier and brighter nothing nocturnal as they sell it. Furthermore in my opinion it resembles Miss Dior Blooming Bouquet a lot; not very original to be honest.
It was one of the fragrances that accompanied me through my adolescence and I hold it in great affection. I wouldn’t use it again as I’m in a different life stage but when I smell it a smile comes to my face.
I bought it sceptical due to the bad reviews but the truth is I’ve loved it. The opening is super fresh but as it dries down it becomes very creamy sweet and deep; I don’t see it for summer. The EDT I can wear on hot days. Both are fantastic and they aren’t similar.
100% juicy pear, rich and linear. Not surprising but it delivers. Perfect for a blind gift. Moderate longevity; it becomes musky at the end, smelling of clean pear. Pleasant, ideal for spring/summer.
It’s 100% juicy pear. Very nice linear doesn’t say much but it never fails. Ideal for blind gifting. Medium longevity. Eventually it becomes slightly musky smelling of clean pear. Pleasant perfect for spring/summer.
I went to try it in the perfumery. At first I thought it was disgusting, but after 20 minutes it started to change. By 5-6 hours it’s a beauty. I washed my hands twice and it’s still there (I have dry skin and nothing lasts). It’s sweet, creamy, fruity and floral, hard to describe. You must try it, I’ll be buying it soon.
I went to try it at the perfumerie. At first sniff it was a resounding disgusting but after 20 minutes it started to change and by five or six hours it’s a beauty. I washed my hands twice where I tested it and it’s still present (and I have super dry skin; nothing ever lasts for me). It’s sweet creamy fruity and floral; I can’t describe it exactly but you have to try it. I’ll be buying it soon.
I tried it today at a perfumerie. They handed me a dry fragrance that didn’t grab much attention at first but I sniffed it for hours because it reminded me of something I couldn’t identify until I discovered it. It transported me back to my twenties leaving clubs and to my friend who wore Dior’s J’adore. At least the dry-down is very similar and they share notes (though this one is simpler). If you like that floral yet sexy style you’ll surely love it.
With time the projection and longevity are phenomenal but for me only the musk roses and blackcurrants come through. There’s a cockroach-like note in the dry-down that slightly ruins the experience; I suppose it’s the rose’s fault. Perhaps they didn’t think too carefully about blending those notes.
