  I absolutely love it. I’m not one for citrusy or overly sweet summer scents, and this has almost none of that sweetness. From the start, it’s acidic and bitter, but after half an hour, a subtle musk note emerges to soften it, even if it’s not listed on the notes. If you wear it, it’s very subtle. Later on, the ISO E Super really comes through; although it’s not declared, it’s heavily present and I like it. It reminds me of Perseus—memory says they’re identical—but since I haven’t tried Perseus in ages, I can’t fully trust my recollection. I’ll smell it again to compare, but I already know Pierce has taken the edge off my desire for Perseus and served as the perfect replacement.

  Finally tried my French Avenue Pierce today and, honestly, it was a total hit. At first, it’s strong and characterful with no hint of timidity, but it quickly settles into something superbly balanced and pleasant. In the end, it dries down clean and elegant—perfect for daily wear or the office without overwhelming anyone. The best part is that, despite it being my first time using it, people have already asked what I’m wearing; it smells great, the quality is evident, and it projects a very professional image. In short, it delivers luxury and has convinced me to use it regularly.
