A few months ago I tried this perfume fresh out of the oven, I was at Harrods the day after its official launch with the same Marco Antonio, but I thought it wasn’t for me even though you could tell it was made by someone who knows what they’re doing. I went back and finally wore it a few days ago and it left me stunned, because it has exactly all the notes I usually hate and yet it managed to conquer me as if I’d been bewitched and turned into the same Marc Antoine. Imagine you take iris butter and heat it up, you throw in a fresh garden rose, saffron, and rhubarb so they release all their color and juice into that iris cream, and then you spread that on a leather jacket, that’s what this perfume tastes and smells like. It costs an arm and a leg and on top of that it’s exclusive to Harrods, which gives it a unique little touch that I love, but it’s worth every penny because it doesn’t resemble anything I’ve ever smelled before, and it also stays with you all day leaving a fine and elegant trail without shouting in the streets.
