Balle Rouge by Mes Bisous is an oriental floral fragrance from the olfactive family, created for men and women. Launched in 2023, this composition was designed by perfumer Koray Sevinç. In its opening, the fragrance unveils a vibrant top note of pink pepper, bergamot and lemon, giving way to a floral and amber heart featuring iris, rose and amber. The trail settles on a warm and silky base composed of tonka bean, vanilla, musk, cedar and patchouli.

Does it have iris? Yes. Is it like Dior’s? Not in the slightest. If you’re a certain age, when buying the bottle blind (as you can’t test it in Spain), the first thing I thought of was Play-Doh. It doesn’t smell like anything I’ve tried before; I own countless iris perfumes and this is very different. The longevity and projection are immense.
I wore it to a rock concert and, although I’m not sure if that was the right moment, I absolutely loved it. At first, it smells like lipstick, but then it becomes intoxicating and super sexy.
