Created by Mary Clemente for Menahra, Bellatrix is an Oriental Floral designed for women and men alike.
It centres on white blossoms, amber and gentle woods, softened by honeyed sweetness and a delicate powdery veil.
The opening features plum, wild berries, coriander, anise and Brazilian rosewood, fruity yet aromatic with a whisper of spice.
At its heart, tuberose, jasmine, rose, carnation and African orange flower are wrapped in cinnamon, incense, white honey and opoponax. The effect is generous and resinous rather than sheer.
The foundation combines vanilla, amber, sandalwood, heliotrope, musk, vetiver and Virginia cedar for a creamy, woody and cosy trail.
Woody, white floral, amber, sweet, powdery and warm spicy accords dominate, supported by floral, aromatic, balsamic and fruity undertones.
From bright spiced fruit through an opulent floral stage to a settled amber and musk base, the fragrance unfolds in a calm, even rhythm.
