Black pepper, elemi and cade oil form the top, frankincense, cardamom and coffee shape the heart, and vanilla, ambroxan and guaiac wood bring up the base.

At first spray the impression is green-resinous and aromatic. Pepper provides a dry spark, elemi a balsamic brightness with a whisper of pine, while cade oil introduces a restrained bonfire accent.

The middle is dominated by frankincense, kept dry and stony rather than solemn. Fresh cardamom lifts the blend, and a roasted coffee note lends depth and a nocturnal feel without added sweetness.

With time, mellow vanilla takes over, cushioned by ambroxan and guaiac wood. The trail turns ambery, powdery and woody, smoothing the earlier smoke into something cosy and skin-close.
