The opening pairs cherry with sour cherry, almond, rum, black pepper and bergamot, fruity and liqueur-like with fresh spice.
At the heart, ink and red wine bring a dark, vinous depth. Myrrh, Damask rose, cinnamon, mimosa, jasmine and lily of the valley unfold around them, resinous, spiced and white floral.
Tonka bean and vanilla pod shape the base, alongside amber, musk and benzoin. Precious woods, patchouli and oud wood lend warmth and woody substance.
The character is sweet, vanilla-toned and ambery, balanced by warm spice and wood. Cherry runs throughout, eased by soft florals and nuanced by aromatic, powdery and fresh-spiced accents.
