I absolutely love this for men. I gifted it for its fresh, mature vibe; the recipient was thrilled and asked to buy it again. Unfortunately, it’s no longer available in Chile. What a shame – I found it unique, and there’s nothing quite like it.
If you are in Chile, look for Lacoste Challenge, Booster, or Essential. It is more complicated, but good contacts always help. Anything else, count on me. Regards.
If it’s available in Chile, it’s still Lacoste Challenge, Booster, Essential, and so on. Of course, it’s more complicated, but good contacts always help. Anything for an insider story. Cheers.
Lacoste Booster is beautiful, a bridge between old school and the casual 90s trend. It evokes the fougères of the 70s and 80s. It opens with a natural, galvanic citrus accord, vetiver, and spicy mint that gives it edge, with a sweet lavender border. Nutmeg adds roundness. It resembles Rive Gauche at first, but then takes its own path. It’s jovial and mature, perfect for fresh or hot days. Highly recommended; if you want more longevity, apply more or carry a decant. It’s still in production. Try it if you’re nostalgic; it doesn’t feel old, it’s a hit among similar scents.

At first, it smells unusual, unlike anything on the market. Strong at the outset, but it softens and accentuates its heart. It does not go unnoticed: it is fresh, summery, and versatile if you know how to dress. It imparts a peculiar personality, ideal for university. Juan Mata.
Lacoste Booster is fresh and herbal. Upon application, you note green and balsamic tones like mint and eucalyptus. It reminds me a bit of Calvin Klein’s Truth for Men, not identical but with similarities. Over time, the woody notes emerge. Although it’s a citrus aromatic, the citrus accompanies the herbal elements. Ideal for daytime, summer, and spring. Suits any age. Projection is medium-low and lasts about six hours (depends on pH).
Lacoste Booster is fresh and herbal. Upon application, you detect green and balsamic notes such as mint and eucalyptus. It reminds me slightly of Truth for Men by Calvin Klein, though not identical, yet with clear similarities. Over time, the woody notes emerge. Although it is a citrus aromatic, the citrus supports the herbal character. Ideal for daytime, summer, and spring. Suitable for any age. What a wonderful surprise: this has become my favourite among over 100 perfumes. My wife, who rarely offers an opinion, was fascinated by the trail. It smells of rich, fresh mint with a basil note that adds a spark. As you move, it leaves a halo in the air that smells so expensive it could pass for a luxury scent, despite not being one. I highly recommend it.
What a pity, because it has potential. Those citrus and eucalyptus notes could have been something good, but the perfume is of such poor quality and so ethereal that it ends up being just a mere attempt. Pleasant at times, with a very good idea, but it lacks quality, body, and development. It could work as a perfumed water for summer. Another fail from Coty, as usual. P.S.: Review based on a full 125ml bottle from 2019.
A very versatile fragrance, not groundbreaking, but the price and that spicy mint can’t be found elsewhere. The opening is good, fresh and herbal. An adult can wear it in the office without issues, and a university student in class is also a good option. If you don’t know what to wear to hit the streets, this won’t let you down; its trail is excellent. Don’t be alarmed by applying more.
It’s a super versatile fragrance; although it’s not new, you won’t find that price point and that spicy mint anywhere else. The opening smells fantastic—fresh and herbal. An adult can wear it to the office without any issues, and a university student will look excellent in it too. If you’re unsure what to wear to the shops, this won’t let you down, as the trail is lovely. Don’t be afraid to use it.
Does it resemble Paula Ibiza and Grey Flannel? For real? I don’t know if they’ve heard this Booster properly or if they’ve made it up. To say it smells like Lacoste Original already seems strange, but for it to resemble those two is insane.
If I have a signature scent, it’s this. Since I discovered it ten years ago, I’ve loved it madly, and it remains my favourite despite fashion changes. Its aroma is unique and unmistakable; so don’t be shy, it will make you stand out wherever you go. It’s ultra-herbal and super fresh, like suddenly stepping into an eucalyptus forest and receiving a fresh mountain breeze that mixes the leaves. Exquisite and balanced with a soft woody base and a citrus finish that makes it versatile all year round. It has served me well, with compliments in winter and summer, day and night. It lasts about six hours and its trail mimics an EDP. The best performance in terms of price-to-quality ratio. In summary: a gem, the crown jewel. Unforgettable, exotic, exquisite, and worth having. Every nose should try it before leaving.
If I have a signature scent, it’s this one. I’ve adored it for 10 years, regardless of fleeting trends. Its aroma is unique and unmistakable; it makes you stand out. It’s ultra-herbal and super fresh, like suddenly stepping into a eucalyptus forest and feeling a crisp mountain breeze mixing with the leaves. Balanced with a soft woody base and a citrus finish. Ultra-versatile for all seasons. It’s served me well in winter and summer, day and night. Lasts about six hours with a surprising trail, mimicking an EDP. The best performance regarding price and quality. A crown jewel, unforgettable and exquisite. Every nose should try it.
The best Lacoste has ever produced in its miserable life: the 2000s version (P&G) or the 90s version (Sofipar). Nothing like the current launches, which smell like a shopping centre. My only complaint is that it’s weak on longevity. I love the sweet eucalyptus note and the creamy mint. I thought it was an exaggeration when they said it was unique, and I couldn’t agree more. Jovial and fresh, the hidden gem of Lacoste, although Land is still missing!
The perfume of my childhood: fresh and clean, perhaps for people aged 15 to 25.
There was a deleted comment saying you must smell this at least once before you die. I’ll say it again: there’s nothing like it today. It has an unparalleled identity, an iconic and unique aroma. I’m not saying it’s the best in the world, but if you’re tired of the same old thing and want something out of the ordinary, it’s your gem. I won’t discuss notes, as there are better comments already. I just invite you to experience a unique olfactory journey. I miss this perfume so much; in my country it’s no longer available, I believe it’s discontinued, and now it comes in a different format.
Lacoste Booster is one of the brand’s best, without repeating that success. Lacoste suffers like fashion houses: the licence changes hands and the perfume is forgotten years later. This Booster was born with P&G, it was incredible; then it moved to Coty and is now with Interperfums, which ruins brands. It’s herbal and citrusy, fresh yet powerful. It had a potent opening and then a soft mentholated touch for hours. I’d love to get it again; it’s discontinued but a safe buy. Rating: 9/10.
Lacoste Booster is a classic herbal woody scent, like a modernised 4711, but Boss is much weaker and fleeting. Comparing it to the Lacoste Original is insulting; they don’t resemble each other at all, and the latter smells great. For the price, I wouldn’t buy it again.
Lacoste Booster: one of the brand’s best, without repeating that success. Lacoste suffers the same fate as the big houses: they change the licensee so often that in ten years it’s not the same anymore. This one was made by P&G and was incredible, then Coty, and now Interperfums, which ruins everything they touch. It’s herbal and citrusy, fresh but powerful. It projected strongly and then left a soft mentholated trail hours later. I’d love to have it back; it’s discontinued but it’s a safe buy. 9/10.
Hello. I registered just to talk about this Lacoste Booster. It was a gift, and I used it sparingly, but by midnight I felt like I was drowning; it made me sick, so I went to the bathroom to wash my neck with water and soap. What relief. Has anyone else experienced this with this or another scent? What a terrible night. It was summer 2000. Best wishes.
