It’s a fresh citrus floral with a barely perceptible sweet touch; on my skin, the tangerine takes the lead. Ideal for summer, it has an incredible trail and lasts all day. If you’re looking for something fresh with lots of personality, this is yours; I haven’t heard anything like it. I love having perfumes that aren’t the typical ones; in short, it’s a total success.
A fresh, floral and citrusy perfume with a touch of sweetness. On my skin, the mandarin scent predominates. I recommend it for summer; it has excellent projection and longevity. If you like fresh scents with a lot of personality, this is your perfume. I haven’t heard anything like it. I love having perfumes that aren’t so popular. In short, I love it.
This is the same as the previous one. It has the same notes and everything, only the bottle design changes a bit. It has a very pleasant smell, it’s very comfortable, and it feels wonderful smelling this fragrance. I don’t see a season for this perfume; it can be worn in summer, autumn, spring, and even winter. Easy to wear. When you smell this fragrance, it changes your mood. The fruity notes come across a bit more, but the floral ones also stand out. In fact, Burberry perfumes have very good projection and longevity; this is no exception. It’s a perfume that conveys energy. I recommend them; you have to try it. If there’s anything similar to Versace’s Bright Crystal, this is better made. If you like floral and fruity scents at the same time, this won’t disappoint you.
I own it, but it’s not among my favourites. The first notes I perceive are mandarin and yuzu; it’s fresh and pleasant. After a while, I notice the pear, submerged in a bath of flowers… peony, and I don’t like it as much anymore, but it’s not unpleasant; I still feel that initial freshness. I agree with mistycal, it resembles Versace’s Bright Crystal, but if I had to choose, I’d go with Versace without a second thought.
Freshness and cleanliness in a bottle, more fruity than floral, I’d say. Excellent for spring and summer. On me, the longevity isn’t very good, but I love the scent.
Freshness and cleanliness in a bottle, more fruity than floral, I’d say. Ideal for spring and summer. The sillage isn’t the best, but I love the scent.
I smelled this a few years ago and fell in love, but it was very expensive. I found it today thanks to the internet. I love citrus fragrances, and here I can smell peony and citrus that I can’t quite distinguish… I’ve never seen a lychee or yuzu, so I suppose that rich taste I smell is those fruits. I’m falling in love with its freshness; I’ll let you know later if it lasts on my skin.
Divine fragrance. Floral and fruity, fresh and lovely. It seems suitable for daytime use in spring or summer, casually. On me, it has great longevity and a single spray was enough, although it depends on each person’s pH. The bottle is divine too.
Citrusy and fresh, I don’t love it because it has nothing particular, but it’s pleasant because it smells clean.
I’m easily overwhelmed by sweet perfumes, but this is different. Although it’s floral, it maintains a constant freshness. It has become my favourite. It’s very pleasant and lasts all day. In the afternoon, when I leave work and go for a walk, I catch a whiff and think: ‘what a lovely scent!’ Then I realise it’s my own perfume. I’m a team London when it comes to fragrances; I think the distant, sober and elegant personality of the English suits me better than the cloying, heavy French ones. Having tried Jo Malone scents, they coincide in making me feel fresh, elegant, subtle, discreet yet modern. I like intimate perfumes, nothing ‘in your face’. The English use a word we don’t have in Spanish: ‘crisp’, like a perfectly ironed white cotton shirt. They also use ‘understated’. That’s how I like my perfumes. I think the name ‘Sheer’ fits those characteristics perfectly.
Sweet perfumes usually overwhelm me, but this is not the case: although it’s floral, it maintains freshness always. It’s already my favourite, very pleasant and lasts the whole day. In the afternoon, walking out of work, I smell it and think what a rich aroma, until I realise it’s mine. I am team London in perfumes; the sober and elegant personality of the English suits me better than the heavy French ones. Now that I’ve tried Jo Malone, I agree: they leave me fresh, elegant, subtle, and modern. I prefer intimate perfumes, nothing ‘in your face’. The English use ‘crisp’, like a freshly ironed white shirt, and ‘understated’. That’s how I like it, and the name ‘Sheer’ fits perfectly.
Fresh, delicious and I love it. The only drawback is that it doesn’t last long on my skin or clothes; it fades too quickly.
What I love most about Burberry is that they don’t all smell the same. Perhaps it’s marketing or because people aren’t familiar with them, but to me, they feel incredibly personal. I bought the Brit Sheer blind, having never smelled it before, and I wasn’t scared because I already own the London, My Burberry and the body scent, and I adore all three. I had my 30ml bottles and they were down to the last drop, so I wanted to restock one, but I saw this and decided to give it a try. I was absolutely right; the brand never misses. This is much softer and fresher, ideal for spring or summer, although I think it would suit autumn well too. I feel they capture the London climate very well; it smells like those crisp mornings when the sun slowly starts to break through, warming you up but very tentatively. It’s a lovely sensation. Yes, as some say, it has a slight resemblance to Versace’s Bright Crystal, but to me, that one felt sweeter and more overwhelming. The longevity is a bit shorter than their other perfumes, but bear in mind it’s an Eau de Toilette. Still, I wore it in the morning and by the end of the day, I can still smell it on my skin and clothes. It’s exactly the kind of cologne I like: soft, persistent but not overpowering.
What I love most about Burberry is that you don’t smell like everyone else’s clone. It feels very personal and wonderful to me. I bought Brit Sheer blind, having never smelled it, but I wasn’t scared because I already own London, My Burberry, and the body lotion, and I adore all three. I had run out of my 30ml bottles, not even a drop left, so I decided to try this EDT. What a hit they made; they hit the nail on the head! Unlike the others, this is much softer and fresher, ideal for spring or summer. I even think it would look great in autumn. I feel the brand captures the London climate very well; this smells like those crisp mornings when the sun slowly comes out and warms you up, but very timidly. It’s a very pleasant sensation. I admit it has a slight hint of Versace Bright Crystal, but that one was much sweeter and overwhelming. The longevity might be a bit shorter as it’s an Eau de Toilette, but I wore it in the morning and by the end of the day, I can still smell it on my skin and clothes. Burberry Brit Sheer is a very fresh and delicious aroma with a pleasant trail, but it does not last even an hour. The truth is, it is money badly spent. I would like to know if you know of any that smell similar.
I had a lot of faith in it and bought it blind. The truth is, it smells like fabric softener, and not in a good way. Very artificial scent; I can’t distinguish any flowers, only citrus and fruity at the start, then a ‘clean’ note that irritated my nose like never before. A fragrance without character, in my opinion. I’ll credit that the longevity is decent, about 4 hours, after which it’s just a skin scent.
I had high hopes and bought it blindly. The truth is, it smells of fabric softener, and not in a good way. A very artificial scent; I cannot distinguish any flowers, only citrus and fruit at the beginning, followed by a ‘clean’ smell that irritated my nose. It is a fragrance without character. I must say the longevity is decent, about four hours, and then it fades to skin scent.
It passed without glory or shame. I had it and barely remember it. In the store, it seemed like a usable find, though it didn’t fascinate me. I was determined to buy The Beat EDT (which I love) after using the EDP, but they weren’t available. I was left with Brit Sheer. Nothing like it between one line and another of the same brand; I chose a poor replacement. It’s rich, light, delicate, and feminine but nothing special. The fruity note that hooks you at the start disappears in a blink. I remember it as flat and floral. I see it has yuzu, an invasive citrus note that clashes with a stale, shrill aftertaste. It was okay for a season, but I won’t repeat.
It was neither a triumph nor a disaster. I had it and barely remember it. At the counter, it seemed like a usable find, although it did not fascinate me. I was determined to buy The Beat EDT, but it was out of stock, so I took Brit Sheer. There is nothing in common between one line and another from the same brand; I chose a poor replacement. It is rich, light, delicate, and feminine, but nothing special. The fruity opening disappears in a blink. I remember it as flat and floral. I see it has yuzu, an invasive citrus note that clashes with an aged, brassy aftertaste. It was fine for a season, but I will not repeat.
I decided to buy it at a tester, thinking it would last longer. Well, I took the plunge and now I regret it. I am absolutely disappointed and angry because it lasts a blink, not even a sigh. That said, it smells super delicious and rich. I like the scent, but not the longevity. I should not let myself be guided by other reviews. I will keep looking for something fresh and fruity that actually lasts.
Trust Burberry’s track record; they tend to be interesting and different. I took a blind risk based on reviews praising the pineapple and spring freshness. Although yuzu is my absolute ‘no’ (I don’t feel comfortable with it on my skin), it arrived and I tried it a few days. Honestly, it’s floral, fresh, spring-like, and clean, but you have to test it on your skin first because the yuzu becomes astringent, dry, and annoying, especially with the peony. It’s similar to Versace Bright, though different; both compete in the same range. Like with Versace, it’s not for me. The longevity and sillage aren’t high; it doesn’t vanish instantly but it doesn’t last long either; Bright Crystal wins hands down in that regard. If you like Versace, you might enjoy this Burberry.
With Burberry’s track record, I risked buying blindly based on reviews of the pineapple and its spring freshness. Despite the yuzu note, which does not suit my skin, I wore it for a few days. It is floral, fresh, spring-like, and clean, but you must try it first. In my case, the yuzu feels astringent, dry, and irritating, especially with the peony. It is similar to Versace Bright, but different. Both compete in the same range, and like Versace, it is not for me. The longevity is not high, but it does not vanish instantly; Bright Crystal wins by a mile in that aspect. If you like Versace, you might enjoy this.
To me, it smells very much of facial sunscreen. The first sensation reminded me of the beach. It is not sensual, elegant, or flirtatious; simply pleasant for the summer.
With so many differing opinions, I believe this perfume varies according to each person’s skin pH. In my case, it is floral, slightly sweet, and has good longevity. It is very similar to Bright Crystal, about 75% alike; the difference lies in the lychee, peach blossom, and woods. I like both, but this one is more intense and sweet. I recommend it for spring and summer if you are looking for something fresh but not too citrusy for the heat.
Ufff, the opening is very sparkly, slightly citrusy with a subtle sweetness. I was surprised because I thought it wouldn’t last at all, given the lack of sillage, but the longevity is excellent: about six hours on the skin and twelve on clothes. I bought it at a good price. It is an intimate aroma; you have to get close to feel it. Feminine and youthful, it is a gem for me.
What a fresh fragrance! I adore the citrus opening mixed with fruity sweetness, especially the lychee and pineapple which last all the time. Then the peony, musk, and wood notes emerge. It is the cleanest scent in my collection, hands down. It lasts about four hours, but I love reapplying. Wonderful, fresh, and sparkly. I love it.
I had been searching for something sophisticated and original, without falling into the ordinary. I took the plunge and bought the decant after hesitating over the full bottle. I sprayed it on my wrist three hours ago and it felt fresh, youthful, and perfect for summer. After a few hours, although the intensity dropped, I noticed the floral notes more clearly. I loved it; I was expecting something sparkly from Burberry and I got it. We’ll see how it evolves over the coming days, but for now, it delivers. I’ll use it properly tomorrow to test its longevity.
A super soft, light, and clean scent, ideal for days when you don’t want to draw attention. It lasts approximately 4 hours.
I’m addicted to gourmands, but for the heat, I needed something that wouldn’t give me the heebie-jeebies in the office. I bought it on offer and it was a hit: it smells fresh, feminine, and fruity, leaving me clean and lovely, ideal for working. It’s sweet but fruity, not a heavy gourmand. I adore it for summer and spring; it doesn’t invade and it’s a pleasure to smell all day.
I’m a fan of gourmand scents, but for the heat, I needed something that wouldn’t bother people at the office. I took the plunge as I found it on offer and it was a hit: it’s fresh, feminine, fruity, and makes me feel clean. It’s sweet but fruity, not gourmand, and I adore it for summer and spring. It’s not invasive and it’s a pleasure to wear.
What a scent! I bought it blindly following the notes. It’s delicate, feminine, and I’ve been praised several times. It’s not expensive and is ideal for summer. The only downside is the fixative quality, less than 4 hours, and you have to touch it up. It feels rich, fruity, and has a pineapple smell 🥰.
One of my favourite Burberrys. It projects moderately and generates countless compliments. It’s one of those perfumes that make you feel fresh and clean all day. It lasts quite a while for me, around 6 or 7 hours.
I was complimented on it so much that I had to gift it to an admirer who loved it. However, my nose never picked it up.
It’s super feminine, but it didn’t last at all on my skin; it just smelled clean and I didn’t love it because it lasts so little and is barely noticeable.
I just applied it and the first thing was ‘a powerful lemon with talcum powder’, nothing more or less. Time passed and that same smell remained, low intensity but very citrusy-talcumy. I don’t smell the peony or the pear, where are they? I suppose the talcum comes from the apricot flower; I doubt it’s the musk. It was a blind purchase guided by the olfactive pyramid and good reviews. I regret it. This perfume has nothing youthful about it; that talcum smell is very retro. Edit: I tried to give it a chance, but that horrible citrusy talcum smell doesn’t go away. The longevity is about 2 hours.
Freshly applied, it smells of ‘strong lemon with talc’, nothing more or less. Over time, the intensity drops but it remains a citrus-talc scent. I don’t smell the peony or the pear. I suppose the talc comes from the apricot flower, not the musk. It was a blind buy based on the notes and reviews, but I regret it. It has nothing youthful about it; that talc smells like a retro perfume. Edit: I kept testing it and that horrible citrus-talc smell doesn’t go away. Longevity is around 2 hours.
Fresh and very youthful. Straight out of the bottle, it smells of lychee and yuzu, super fruity and fresh; I don’t detect the pineapple or pear. It’s a lovely fragrance with acceptable longevity (around 4-5 hours for an EDT). I bought it for myself but I’ll be gifting it to my daughter.
A blind buy with a happy ending. A youthful floral scent where peony, pear, and white woods stand out; soft and charming. A pity about the longevity, but for the price, I don’t mind touching it up. To my nose, it’s more delicious than the famous Her. What a shame people let themselves be led by hype alone and don’t discover hidden gems.
It’s a lovely citrus floral, from the same family as Bright Crystal but with more personality than Brit Sheer. The dry-down is elegant; although the longevity is typical for citrus (it doesn’t last long), it’s worth reapplying given the price.
