  I’d give my arm to be part of a horde of suit-wearing professionals who would lose their souls over these Officina creations. Thanks to a discovery set, I’m trying them all and notice a very vintage seriousness in the collection: dressing tables from another era, dusty offices, the 1940s and film noir that simply don’t suit me, but I understand where this inspiration comes from. They evoke Christmas days with grandparents, the morning of the raffle, sweet wines in barrels… penetrating and melancholic scents, which I’m sure have fans among notaries, lawyers and responsible businessmen. They would truly enjoy this pure nostalgia sampler, drowned in memories of heavy wool suits, dusty tweeds and austere cold winters. This Legnoso opens with a slap of liquor, moves to a chimney aftertaste that transforms into a familiar, warm yet stern sandalwood. It tells me nothing particularly novel: I sense it as eminently masculine and very present, with a hint of distant incense. It smells of other decades and I can’t wear it; I don’t feel that spark. On skin it clings like a monster, but on skin it feels much more tamed and soft, yet I still don’t match.
