Exquisite and great value, a very pleasant lavender scent, perfect for the office. Truth be told, it’s an excellent fragrance; nothing revolutionary but certainly well-balanced and agreeable. I’ll be buying another when I finish this one.
The opening smells very fresh thanks to the bergamot, but as it dries down it gains more body and weight from the lavender and sandalwood. It’s an exquisite fragrance, good quality and a bargain price.

Batch 497IF2: pleasant, simple, and easy to wear. It’s a well-rounded scent that doesn’t stand out; occasionally someone will compliment it without making a scene. I’ve finished my bottle today and am already looking for a replacement because I can’t find a match. It has something that reminds me of the Sauvages I’ve tried but will never own; this one is worth a third of the EDT price.

Throughout the day, oakmoss, sandalwood, and anise stand out, giving it a masculine and sober character. The ideal seasons are winter and autumn, especially in the morning. I’ve never smelled the classic 1975 Captain, which is spoken of in hallowed terms, but I really like this EDP. It’s aquatic, clean and fresh. I’d pair it with a smart casual look, not formal.

I absolutely love the scent; it lasts all day, and the price is ridiculously cheap.
Smells like barbershop lotion. The aroma is fairly linear; the bergamot and orange blossom citrus notes stand out, followed by oakmoss in the background which gives it a certain bitterness. With care, one can detect a timid lavender, anise and sandalwood, but I fail to perceive the guaiac wood, which according to other fragrances tends to be very recognisable (smells like an old dentist’s office). I think it resembles the Tabac Original but without the dusty quality. It suits adults from the age of 40 better for daily wear, as it doesn’t smell elegant.
