A spectacular perfume, wonderful worn forwards and backwards. For me, the standout notes are almond, rice, and tonka bean; after a while, it smells of an old library due to that paper note. I don’t detect the incense or the other notes. It feels very original, unlike anything I’ve tried before. Is it gourmand? Yes, but with nuances: it’s not overly sweet, just warm, like a soft, affectionate hug. As for woody notes, I’m afraid I don’t sense any. It’s definitely unisex. I see it as ideal for daytime and work; it’s not intrusive or overwhelming. It’s a fragrance for personal enjoyment; you’ll notice it yourself. It doesn’t evolve much, smelling the same from start to finish. On my skin, it lasts about five hours, though it might last longer with reapplication. I’ve had it for a few weeks and will give it time to ‘mature’ to see if it performs better. Projection won’t improve much, so keep that in mind. It was a blind buy based on the notes, and I got lucky as I love it. It’s not floral and doesn’t appeal to everyone. My advice: always test it on your skin before buying, if you can.
