About Cerisier Rouge
Cerisier Rouge Caché: A Cherry-Opening Floral Fruit for All
Cerisier Rouge is a new fragrance from Caché, created for both men and women and launched in 2026. It belongs to the floral fruity family, with a mouthwatering opening of black cherry and bitter almond. A heart of jasmine sambac and rose leads to a creamy, woody base of vanilla, sandalwood, and tonka bean.
The first impression is all about the cherry: juicy and dark, but given an unexpected twist by bitter almond. That almond note adds a dry, almost marzipan-like edge that stops the cherry from becoming too cloying. It is a nostalgic but grown-up combination, reminiscent of a fine kirsch or a luxury cherry lozenge.
The floral heart introduces jasmine sambac and rose, which bring a powdery, white-petal softness. These flowers do not overpower the fruit; instead, they wrap it in a gentle haze. The balance at this stage is lovely – sweet, but with enough freshness from the blooms to keep it airy.
At the base, Peru balsam gives a subtly resinous, almost medicinal warmth, while sandalwood provides a creamy, soft wood. Tonka bean and vanilla melt into the mix, producing an ambered, sweet finish that is cosy and comforting. The drydown is smooth, with a light powdery veil that lingers for hours.
Cerisier Rouge is built on accords of vanilla, balsamic, woody, amber, white floral, rose, cherry, almond, sweet, and powdery. These elements make it surprisingly versatile: it can be worn to the office, on a weekend getaway, or for an evening out. Although presented as a unisex scent, the floral sweetness may appeal most to those who enjoy feminine-leaning perfumes, but the woody base ensures it sits well on masculine skin too.
Fragrance lovers who enjoy black cherry, soft florals, and a warm vanilla-wood base, and who want a versatile scent for daily wear.
Cerisier Rouge Caché offers a modern take on the cherry perfume trend, elevated by bitter almond and a smooth, woody creaminess. It is an accessible yet distinctive fragrance that deserves a place on any shelf.
