Cherry Delice by Johan B is a fruity floral scent for her, launched in 2020. It opens with pear, bergamot and strawberry; the heart features jasmine, violet and orange; the base is amber, patchouli, vanilla, musk and vetiver. It bears a strong resemblance to Burberry Her and has the vibes of Baccarat Rouge 540, as if it were its teenage daughter: here the fruity accord dominates the opening and development, rather than the woods. The name is marketing, but the fruity touch is a fusion of cherries, strawberries and blackcurrants with a sharp edge. Halfway through, a floral bouquet emerges, submerged in those fruits, settling into vetiver and amber. Performance: four hours on skin, a little longer on clothes, with moderate to low sillage and projection. Value for money is spot on. Fun fact: my daughter layers it with Burberry Her and wow, it creates a fruity cocktail with great projection, delicious and addictive. Do I like it? Yes, although it feels like more of the same, the scent is delightful, enjoyable, and the packaging is beautiful.
