  A cologne where vetiver takes command from the very first spritz right through to the end. At the outset, bergamot shines brightly alongside neroli, which adds a lovely projection. Then jasmine and subtle spices step in, complementing the vetiver and that cheerful jasmine. That phase is exquisite; the balance is perfect, as if one note might dominate, yet everything remains beautifully dosed. As the jasmine and spices fade, cedar becomes more noticeable, supporting the vetiver, while the base musk extends the longevity, leaving a more earthy vetiver clinging to the skin. It’s a bright vetiver, ideal for sunny, hot days, giving a sense of freshness in summer or late spring. It could be unisex, but given that vetiver has historically been a masculine scent, I lean that way, though it suits a woman wonderfully too. The longevity is very good for a cologne, over six hours, with solid projection during the first two. It’s a high-quality product; you can tell from the ingredients and the blend, which is very well-balanced. Considering the prices of fragrances out there that aren’t worth the money, this V2 seems very fairly priced and delivers what it costs. The best thing is that it gives me an energy boost, makes me feel more jovial, and is very easy to wear, especially for a vetiver lover like myself. An excellent cologne with vetiver always front and centre and very good supporting notes.
