Como Tú Sakai: Mercadona’s New Floral Woody Musk Perfume

Como Tú Sakai is Mercadona’s new women’s perfume, launched in 2025 within the Como Tú range. It’s a floral woody musk scent, with white flowers at the front and a warm, resinous base.

The pyramid is simple: gardenia opens, tuberose sits at the heart, and oud wood grounds the composition. It’s a fragrance built for impact, not for fading into the background.

The floral woody musk family is built on white floral, tuberose, lactonic, animalic and oud accords. It’s a rich composition, far from a light, understated scent.

The gardenia opening is creamy and softly green. In the heart, the tuberose reveals a heady, sensual side, with a lactonic edge that gives the blend a smooth, milky feel.

The oud wood base provides a resinous, smoky contrast to the flowers. It adds depth and gives the perfume a warm, dark character that anchors the composition.

Launched in 2025, Como Tú Sakai joins Mercadona’s Como Tú range. The pyramid is simple, but the interplay of white flowers and oud gives it a distinct personality.

With an average rating of 3.79 out of 5 from 14 reviews, it’s a fragrance that tends to divide opinion: those who love bold white florals will enjoy it, while those who prefer quieter scents may find it overpowering.

This perfume is for women who like generous white florals and woody bases. It’s a good choice for evenings, autumn and winter, or any occasion where you want a scent with real presence.

Como Tú Sakai is a surprisingly bold perfume from Mercadona. The tuberose is front and centre, the oud gives it weight, and the overall effect is feminine, dramatic and memorable. If you enjoy florals with an edge, this is one to test.

Sakai is the typical perfume you buy without expectations and it ends up being your secret weapon. The longevity is incredible, hours and hours of projection as though you were wearing a niche designer. The sillage is soft at first, but when it warms on the skin it becomes enveloping, clean, and super addictive. It has that aura of an ‘expensive’ perfume. If they launched it tomorrow in a heavy crystal bottle with a magnetic cap and an invented French name, people would fight over it. Sakai smells of intense white floral and elegant, but without being heavy. As soon as you apply it, you notice the gardenia, creamy and clean, with that fresh touch that gives a feeling of well-groomed skin. After a few minutes, the tuberose appears, which is what gives it character: a deep, soft floral with an almost velvety touch that makes the perfume feel more expensive than it is. When it settles completely, the oud comes out, but very tamed. It’s not an aggressive or dark oud; here it feels warm, woody, and elegant, like a base that embraces the flowers and gives them longevity. That’s exactly what makes Sakai last so many hours and leave that clean but present sillage. Overall, the smell is floral, creamy, and woody, with a sophisticated touch that surprises a lot for the price. A perfume that proves that Mercadona, when it wants to, competes with the big ones.
