It’s identical to Memo Paris’s Russian Leather, which I’ve gone through two bottles of, but this lasts much longer. I really like Russian Leather, so when I got the chance, I bought this Dua version to use more occasionally. Be aware it’s not a cheaply made knock-off; you pay for the quality of ingredients (around 60 euros for 33ml plus postage, though the extract concentration and performance are far superior). Like the Memo version, ultra-fresh pine from the mint effect really stands out on my skin, along with lavender which, personally, sits a bit lower in the blend, and aromatic herbs, plus very subtle leather (which is also common in much of Memo’s Leather collection). Dua manufactures in the USA, so it’s currently hard to find in Europe. If you do find it, don’t hesitate, because as I say, the olfactory quality and longevity are exceptional. PS: if Russian Leather sounds very rugged and vintage to you, don’t worry, this is a modern take on the fougère Au revoir!
