At the top, aldehydes, blackcurrant, cardamom, peach, clary sage, and coriander create a sparkling, juicy introduction. There is a shimmering quality to these opening notes that quickly draws the nose in.
The heart is where the scent gains real personality. Civet and ambergris deliver a subtle animalic warmth, while orris root, oakmoss, myrtle, thyme, and cypriol provide a green, woody counterpoint. Orchid, narcissus, and tuberose take the floral theme in a rich, almost heady direction.
