At the top, cognac gives a mellow, liqueur-like warmth, sharpened and freshened by bergamot. The effect is inviting rather than heavy.
Through the middle, jasmine and heliotrope establish a powdery white-floral theme with a faint almond character. Cinnamon lends quiet spice, whilst tonka bean and oak add balsamic sweetness and a drier woody backbone.
The drydown favours comfort: praline and vanilla form a creamy, sweet foundation, mellowed by sandalwood and given a clean softness by white musk.
