It’s imposing, masculine and demanding of the wearer. It’s not for any occasion; it’s for men who know how to dress and dominate situations with character. Never buy blindly: it’s delicious, but it won’t suit everyone. I’m becoming more of a fan of Habibi.
Like with music, they’ve run out of ideas here; they just mix existing notes to appear novel. It’s a vintage style reminiscent of Giorgio Red or Pierre Cardin, a light cologne version with violet. The violet fades after 4 hours, leaving that old-fashioned scent. The good thing is it lasts 12 hours, almost skin-close. It’s not imposing, but it’s noticeable due to its trail and vintage nature, something almost no one uses today. I didn’t find the oud in any formal cut; it lasts 6 hours strong and another 6 softer. For those over 30. Good quality but nothing innovative. Don’t buy blindly if you’re looking for oud.
It smells rich to me but a bit old-fashioned. Not for daily wear, but I love it. Lasts 10 or 12 hours and sometimes gives me bursts of strong wood that don’t seem like oud. Given how casual it is, it will last me a long time, so I won’t be buying it again.
From the Habibi line, this is one I wouldn’t renew once finished. Although the notes seem promising, on my skin it offers nothing new compared to other scents from the house like Rare Woods or Penthouse. It’s pleasant and will get you compliments, but every skin is a world. I see it as a youthful unisex or feminine scent for those over 30, with a modernised nineties vibe. It’s versatile for casual or formal wear, but test before buying. Lasts 6-8 hours, evolves quickly, and leaves a linear trail. I didn’t detect the oud.
The brand has that sticky base you know from their whole range, but this one is fruity with a hint of pepper. The oud is scarce, sweet and skin-close, with barely perceptible violet. The longevity is moderate: a potent opening that then softens. I like it, but I wouldn’t repurchase.
