Descripción
Dolce Colata by Sicili Fragrances is an olfactory creation for the family, designed for men and women, launched in 2025. The nose behind this fragrance is Salvador Castellanos. The top notes unfold a tropical freshness with coconut, pineapple, grapefruit and mandarin; the heart reveals the sensuality of ylang-ylang and jasmine; while the base notes complete the composition with an elegant blend of marine notes, exotic fruits and rum.

I’m being completely honest for anyone seeking niche perfumes, especially men looking for genuine opinions. The listed aromatic pyramid doesn’t quite match the actual perception; while it’s evolving, the real sequence from the first minute until dry-down in fresh weather is: salty/mineral, marine, coconut, sweet, citrus, fruity, aromatic, white floral, and woody. The scent is good but slightly synthetic; I expected a rum and coconut cocktail as advertised, but instead got mineral/solar notes reminiscent of Issey Miyake’s Fussion, which won’t appeal to everyone. The citrus and fruity opening is pleasant and projects quickly, giving way to a creamy coconut with a salty mineral sensation that isn’t bad—it helps keep it from being too sweet (considering its versatility) and withstands up to 40 degrees without smelling like sunscreen, unlike other coconut fragrances. It’s rich in the first stage but feels more feminine than masculine, reminiscent of commercial hair creams with coconut and exotic fruits like passionfruit. After an hour, it remains sweet; the fruity notes are noticeable but the citrus becomes subtler, turning saltier and unstable, attempting to be marine but falling short, smelling more like water lily or something greeny. My disappointment was the absence of rum, mojito, or that alcoholic touch I wanted for the beach, which never appeared. The floral aspect is perceptible, and the ylang-ylang adds a creamy, powdery feel with the coconut. Skin longevity: 7 hours (the last hour clings very close to the skin). Sillage: moderate, reaching about a metre initially, then becoming more intimate and so on until the end. Perhaps it’s only suitable for men under 30, it’s not formal at all, and is designed for special spring and summer holidays.
