14/12/25 I finally got it! I picked it up at Disney Springs in Orlando and it was love at first sight. It smells like soap, like cleanliness. It’s fruity and floral, nothing invasive, tender, naif, easy to wear and versatile. For now, the longevity suits me. I’ll expand on this later. That said: medium longevity. It bears a strong resemblance to Kayali’s Eden Sparkling Lychee 39.
The opening is brutal and caught me off guard: a juicy floral evoking a girl in a spring dress with hair still damp. I loved it, but the dry-down disappoints; the trail drops significantly, it clings to the skin and smells like other Zara perfumes, as if they share a common signature. I no longer detect much of the floral or fruity notes, just a barely perceptible musky touch. After about two hours, the scent has changed completely and I have to press my wrist to my nose to catch it. If you’ve smelled Zara’s Orchid or Mimosa Cloud, you’ll understand what I mean by that dry-down.
The opening is spectacular and surprised me, a juicy floral giving vibes of a girl in a spring dress with wet hair. Honestly, I loved it. Now the dry-down is less impressive; first the trail drops a lot, it stays close to the skin and smells like other Zara perfumes, like a house stamp. The floral and fruity notes are no longer noticeable, leaving a barely perceptible musky trail. After about two hours, the scent is neither similar nor recognisable and I have to press my wrist to my nose to smell it. I know they don’t share notes, but if you’ve smelled Zara’s Orchid or Mimosa Cloud, you know what I mean regarding the dry-down.
