This is a classic of the ‘fresh and clean’ perfumes, quite aquatic, neither too sweet nor too floral. A scent that makes you feel like it’s summer. Its main notes are well-balanced and smell fairly natural; the base notes are discreet but give it personality. A pity it’s discontinued. The best in the Escada Sport line.
I first tried this perfume at 13 during a visit from my maternal grandmother to my city. I remember it as fresh, floral, and mentholated (I’m not sure why, as it’s not described as such); it must have been the feeling of freshness it gave me because it was hers and she wore it in summer. It’s not available in my country. If I smell it again, I hope the formula hasn’t changed. It’s my perfume, alongside Paula by Paula Chaen D’Anvers.
I just tested a sample of Natura Kaiak Aventura Fem on my skin and it took me straight back to my all-time favourite, Escada Feeling Free. I remember wearing it on holiday, choosing from three bottles, and I loved it! Still love it. What a delight. Both share a heart of rose and freesia, with a sandalwood base. I adore it.
An unforgettable fragrance for spring and summer, perfect for day wear or a night out stargazing. On the skin, it’s like that gentle breeze after sun and sea: oceanic, clean, slightly floral, enveloping yet not cloying or too sharp. Sandalwood rounds it off beautifully at the end without feeling heavy or woody. Unfortunately discontinued. We’re somewhat consoled by the existence of D&G’s Light Blue, which, while not identical, is a good representative of the segment.
A unique and unforgettable, nostalgic perfume. It transports you back to summers visiting uncles at the beach house, feeling like you’re in another Mediterranean country. It was in the huge bathroom where anyone could use it, alongside other luxury scents like Polo Green, Acqua di Gio, and Rodrigo Faño, belonging to my wealthy uncles. I agree it resembles D&G’s Light Blue, but with more attitude. I remember ‘Mi Historia Entre Tus Dedos’ by Gianluca Ginoble playing in the giant garden while they prepared sangria and fruit salad for lunch.
