It’s a special fragrance, fresh, floral and youthful, smelling of roses with a different sweet touch than most Escada. It lifts your spirits, suitable for day and night. I gave it to a friend and she loved it. Age doesn’t matter, if you have a young spirit, go for it.
I know it’s cheap, it’s aimed at young girls, and my students absolutely adore it. But you know what? I couldn’t care less. It’s brilliant and I want it, I want it NOW!!
It’s a special fragrance, fresh and floral, youthful, smelling of roses with a distinct sweet touch different from most Escada perfumes. It lifts your spirits and can be worn day or night. I gifted it to a friend and she loved it so much I ended up wanting one for myself. Age doesn’t matter; if you have a youthful spirit, go for it.
I want one too, girls. I tried it recently and was hugely surprised; I expected something super fruity like the regular Escada ones, but Especially Escada is intense for the home. From the start, fresh, youthful roses, nothing soapy or powdery. They’re softly musky roses, acidic, fresh, damp, muuuy coquettish. It’s linear, and the ylang-ylang gains strength with the ambrette musk. I didn’t notice the pear as such, just a non-specific fruity backdrop, but I’m sure the pear softens the rose petals. It makes me feel coquettish, sexy and mischievous. It’s not just for the young; women of all ages can wear it. Average longevity, but the projection and trail are excellent.
My sister wears it and it smells exquisite, although unfortunately it reminds me of laundry detergent. Apart from that, it has a slightly classic, even ‘sexy’, scent, I don’t know why. It can be worn during the day with few sprays and also at night.

I bought it on the reviews and what a find! I LOVE IT. On my skin, the rose and pear dominate, with an aquatic and ylang-ylang base. The best thing is that, although it’s sweet, it doesn’t turn caramelised like it usually does with Escada (they’re sugar bombs on my skin!). It’s fresh, floral, and with a delicious sweet touch. One of the most delicious perfumes I’ve tried. On me, it smells like fresh roses, like just out of the shower, and the best part is that where I live I’ve never heard anyone else wearing it. I love it!
Unfortunately, on my skin the rose isn’t the protagonist as other reviews say, and I would have really liked it to be, as I am a devoted lover of the queen of flowers. It’s a fresh scent with a clean smell effect; I don’t detect any of the declared notes. As I mentioned, I would have wanted the rose to stand out, but it didn’t. It was good to try it but I wouldn’t buy it again. Also, on my skin the sillage and longevity are almost non-existent.
I like Especially Escada; I’m a rose lover, but I feel the roses here aren’t handled with elegance or delicacy. That initial pear note, hmm, I don’t like it at all. The good thing is it doesn’t last long because the rose comes in immediately, but it’s not a fresh rose; I feel it’s a bit sweet and after five minutes the aquatic notes appear. Sorry, but far from giving freshness, when fused with that note, the perfume smells like floor cleaner. That part I like, but I ruined the perfume hahaha. That’s the impression it gives me and unfortunately it turns into a cheap perfume. I don’t know who came up with combining pear, roses and aquatic notes; it’s sacrilege. Better to end my review here because I start remembering vividly why I bought the lighter version afterwards, and it makes me furious that Especially Escada exists.
I knew this fragrance since I was little and dreamed of owning it. It has been on the market for years and I never heard good reviews, so I tested its performance on my skin. Without a doubt, I love its opening: it smells soapy, fruity, fresh and very clean, a just-right sweetness. It didn’t seem powerful to me, but it maintained its longevity freshly applied for up to five hours. Then I was left with the smell of Raid mosquito tablets… close to the skin it lasted until the next day. I like it, I feel it’s very versatile, fresh, informal and youthful. It doesn’t last long, so I’d only buy it if there was a very good offer.

After getting closer to perfumery and changing my tastes, this remains a scent I hold dear. Its opening is a fruity rose due to the pear. On my skin, it leaves a clean scent, a slightly sweet rose with a hint of pepper; somewhat synthetic but pretty. It’s carefree and fresh, ideal for daytime in spring and summer. It has moderate sillage and lasts about three hours on my skin, which is hard to overlook. Now that I’ve just used it, I wonder if I’d buy it again and I think not. I’d like it to return to my collection, but its longevity is very short. Scent 7.5/10, Longevity 4/10, Sillage 7/10, Value for money 6/10, Versatility 8/10, Packaging 7.5/10. Would I buy it again? Probably not.

Scented musk roses: This is the perfume that flatters me the most.
