To be honest, with my limited perfume experience, this is exquisite. I can recognise the orange, pine, lavender, incense and woods. In fact, it smells a bit like that lovely-smelling laundry soap or detergent, but that doesn’t take away from it being a top fragrance. It feels mature and intense, depending on what you’re wearing. It suits me perfectly for a sunny breakfast, a walk, a picnic, an afternoon out or dinner. I don’t see it for late-night gatherings or parties, but everyone has their own style. Though ultimately, it does have a sensual touch. Very rich. The longevity is brilliant, lasting around eight hours without issues and projecting hugely. I tested it in cool weather, below 20 degrees, down to 10-15. We’ll see how it performs in the heat. I repeat, this is my impression based on my skin and the climate. Everyone experiences it differently. Hope I haven’t offended. Best regards!

What really caught me was the opening: a ripe, sweet orange, not citrusy at all, blended with pine that isn’t from damp forests but from summer—hot needles in the sun that cut the sweetness just right. It lingers like this for about ten minutes before a sticky labdanum and smoky incense arrive, softened by tonka. As it dries, it smells of that oakmoss bitterness over the creamy white of sandalwood. It takes me back to strolling through that Mediterranean woodland, among gorse and trees, with pine groves framed by hot grey rocks. A total delight.
