Extreme Passion by Lorenzo Pazzaglia is a fragrance from the olfactive family for men and women. Launched in 2015, this composition was created by nose Lorenzo Pazzaglia. In its top notes, the fragrance unfolds an explosion of pear, passion fruit, peach, citrus and grapes. The heart reveals floral elegance with magnolia, sambac jasmine and valley lily. Finally, the base notes land on a warm and sensual foundation formed by white musk, Bourbon vanilla, sandalwood, amber and oakmoss.

It’s a tropical fruity cocktail, like a creamy passionfruit ice cream, super fresh. It evolves clearly: it starts fruity and, over time, lets the floral notes and a musky vanilla base emerge, creamy and not cloying. It’s very singular, with its own personality. Although it’s fruity, it’s not the same as Erba Pura. The longevity exceeds 12 hours and the projection is moderate but well done. I loved it.
Undoubtedly sharing DNA with Pax… it just doesn’t finish for me. That one has a slightly darker edge. In this, from start to finish, the fruity and sweet side predominates more, which is why it doesn’t hook me. The composition, balance and performance are optimal, but I’ll stick with Pax by a long shot.
As soon as I spray it, I detect the sandalwood. I’m very sensitive to it and it turns my stomach inside out (with honourable exceptions, such as Santal Vanille by The 7 Virtues), but seeing so many notes together, I didn’t think I’d notice it… fortunately, that note calms down and I can appreciate the fruit cocktail, with a clear predominance of pear, strong, potent and sweet. As it dries, it smells like fruit/citrus shampoo or cleaning product. It has good presence for about five hours, but afterwards it starts to fade and needs reapplication. It’s not a memorable fragrance, neither for scent nor performance. It’s the second one I’ve tried from the Lorenzo Pazzaglia discovery set, and I’m still waiting for that ‘beast mode’ from the house I’ve heard so much about. I’ll keep trying!
Delicious. Although it shares some similarities with Pax and Erba Pura, this smells much cleaner and more floral; the pear gives it a special juiciness. The longevity is good, it doesn’t give me a headache or overwhelm me like Erba Pura does, which is phenomenal. The dry-down is pleasant, musky but without losing the fruity and floral touch. I loved it.

It’s the second-to-last of the ten I’ve tried from this house, and I’ve loved this one. It comes out super musky, fresh and fruity. It’s white, airy, clean and ethereal. Easy to wear and very unisex.
