  Felaniilla is a brutal vanilla at first, smelling almost exactly like Dior Homme, but then it settles beautifully between saffron and sweet, toasted notes. It’s incredibly addictive: at first it seems like plain vanilla, but every time you wear it, your interest grows and you discover its facets. The best part is the quality; Pierre Guillaume has already proved himself with this, and the blend is magnificent. Curiously, there’s a banana leaf note at the start, a smoky hay sensation, and the sweetness of the amber. Another key point is its potency; it lasts longer than similar scents and the trail is noticeable from metres away without being overwhelming. Rating: simply perfect.

  Felaniilla is a brutal vanilla; upon application, it smells very much like Dior Homme, opens brilliantly, and settles perfectly between saffron and sweet, toasted notes. It’s a real cracker. At first, you think it’s just vanilla on vanilla, but every time I wore it, I got more hooked and discovered all its facets. The best part is the quality; Pierre Guillaume had already made his mark, but the blend is outstanding. The banana leaf note at the start is curious, along with that smoky hay sensation and the sweetness of the amber. Another key point is the potency; it lasts longer than others of the same type and the trail is noticeable from metres away without being overwhelming. Rating: simply perfect.

  Not bad. It’s a vanilla amber with that dry, powdery touch of hay, reinforced by the iris and saffron in the base which give it plenty of character; a medicinal and potent scent, though it’s certainly not my favourite note. It performs very well.
