  The opening is rich and distinct from the original Femme, featuring a fresh, soft jasmine accented with citrus. As it dries down, a vanilla emerges very similar to the original, creating a lighter, more wearable version where jasmine and citrus dominate, without the distinct orange note. There’s a moment when that powdery vanilla is very prominent, reminding me of the Femme, making it feel a bit heavy for winter, but it lasts only a few minutes. Then it fades, settling into a jasmine and orange base. To me, it has nothing to do with Alien other than the jasmine. I see it as a daytime scent, ideal for spring and summer. It’s very friendly for those seeking a soft jasmine or who liked the Femme but found it too intense. The pity is that the sillage is soft and the longevity is short, around 2-3 hours. Final thought: I’m going to try layering it with the original. EDIT: Successful layerings: 1) 4711 Remix 2020, 2) Femme de Zara, 3) Full by Al Rehab. Rating: 6.5/10. Longevity 4/10, Sillage 5/10, Value for money 6/10, Versatility 7/10, Packaging 7/10. Would I buy again? No.

  I grabbed this blindly on impulse. I was in the perfumerie to refill my Mandarina Duck, but I stopped at Zara first. I tried this and thought it resembled it closely, minus the peppery note that used to make me sneeze. For the price, it’s brilliant, but I wouldn’t buy it again. It’s a very basic, fresh, light EDT perfect for summer, although to be honest, it just doesn’t agree with my skin. I can’t fathom why I thought it sounded like the Duck, but whatever. At least I’ve expanded my wardrobe for when I don’t fancy my beloved scents.
