About First Tattoo
First Tattoo: An Ink and Wood Study
First Tattoo by The Dua Brand is a woody fragrance for women and men, released in 2024. Its starting point is deliberately offbeat: tattoo ink.
The nose behind it is Mahsam Raza, working with a tight palette of four declared notes — ink, birch, jasmine and vetiver.
The ink note shapes the mood. Cool, mineral and faintly dark, it calls to mind inked skin and underpins the smoky and leathery nuances associated with the perfume.
Birch adds dryness and lift. Aromatic, a touch smoky and faintly tanned, it forms the woody framework around which everything else sits.
Jasmine offers a flash of white floral brightness. Rather than sweeten, it refines the texture and lightens the dialogue between timber and ink.
Vetiver provides an earthy, greenish close. Elegant and aromatic, it keeps the trail understated and wearable, firmly within unisex woody territory.
Will appeal to lovers of restrained, conceptual unisex perfumery — smoky woods, supple leather and an unsweetened white floral touch.
Spare and contemporary, First Tattoo distils skin, ink and timber into four notes. A quiet, unisex woody with a clear idea.
