Descripción

Flowerbomb Bloom by Viktor&Rolf is a floral fragrance for women. Launched in 2017, this composition was created by Domitille Michalon Bertier and Claire Liégent. The top notes reveal the freshness of pomegranate and mandarin; the heart unfolds a harmony of freesia, mountain air, Damask rose and jasmine; while the base notes settle into a woody register.

  • I tried a sample and perceived a powdery, sweet, and delicate perfume. It’s lovely, elegant, and formal, suitable for a spring engagement. However, it doesn’t stand out at all; it’s just another pretty sweet scent. As it’s the first Flowerbomb I’ve tried and knowing the prices of Viktor&Rolf, it seems too expensive for what it offers.

I tried it on holiday in the US and was delighted, although the price seemed excessive. Fortunately, a few days later I found it at a local perfumerie at a more reasonable price. It lives up to its name: it’s a floral bomb. Unlike its predecessor, this is much more wearable. For me, the original Flowerbomb is extremely dense and sweet, impossible to wear. This one, however, is far more versatile and sophisticated. Ideal for warm days.

  • I bought it at a comfortable price thanks to a friend of a friend who works in perfumery. I bought it blind because they offered it to me, but WOW, it smells divine. It’s my favourite for special occasions; I associate it with a very sensual floral and it lasts a long time, lingering beautifully on clothes.

  • I’ve never tried the original Flowerbomb, but I bought this because its notes are fresher and it’s the least intense in the line. I was worried the original might be cloying, so I took a chance on this. It’s an exquisite creation: a sweet, feminine floral with a fresh touch—not aquatic, but like a mountain breeze filled with exquisite flowers. It’s one of my favourites: elegant, feminine, addictive, and sweet. I love it. Its performance is excellent and it’s worth every euro. If you’re looking for something spring-like, a sweet floral that isn’t cloying and is elegant, I recommend it.

  • This EDT is here to fill you with optimism, joy, and love. It touched my heart and reminded me of lovely moments from my adolescence. At first, you can detect the pomegranate, tangerine, and rose. Very delicious, but it needs to be reapplied several times.

Despite collecting fragrances, it’s rare for one to be gifted to me; people often don’t know what I own. This is one of the few gifts I’ve received, and probably wouldn’t have chosen it myself. It’s simple, cheerful, and carefree, dominated by pomegranate as if it were fresh fruit juice. In the base, there are woods and perhaps jasmine. It’s not particularly special, but it’s lovely. It smells fresh and I use it at the gym, as it doesn’t overpower and acts like a body mist on my skin.

A beautiful and delicate fragrance, carrying that sweet DNA of the original Flowerbomb. Ideal for hot weather, though its woody base gives it character and requires careful application. When I first opened it, the notes came out separated: first the ‘liquid air’—synthetic yet fresh, like pure air rushing through a car window and momentarily overwhelming you; then the woody notes and fruity sweetness, which initially made me feel sick. The next day, with hydrated and clean skin, everything changed. The perfume blended perfectly with my skin chemistry. I realised the first time wasn’t the right moment or place. Although it initially smelled of air, synthetic sweetness, and masculine woods that repelled me, after a second chance I truly enjoyed it. I no longer perceive it the same way; it’s fresher and more intimate than the original without losing its sweetness. I worry others might smell it the same way I did at first, but it’s exquisite and has already dethroned the original Flowerbomb from my collection.
