  • I had it stored away for a good while and found it while tidying my wardrobe. Last night I took my wife out for dinner and wore it generously. What a pleasant surprise, because when I bought it it didn’t seem spectacular to me, but now it’s a very good fragrance. That orange blossom note is simply magnificent; I feel it as powdery and it gives me an air of violets. My wife even asked me: ‘What are you wearing today? Is it new?’ I replied no, that it was one I’d had stored for a while. I asked if she could guess what she thought it was and gave her three options: a) La Nuit de L’Homme, b) Valentino Uomo, c) Zara For Him Black Edition. She responded that it was La Nuit de L’Homme; personally, I don’t find them that similar. In the restaurant, the waitress sitting opposite my wife asked how good you smell, is that your scent, to which I replied yes. My wife, who is a bit jealous, got annoyed and told the waitress not to smell me too. I had to step in to divert the situation. However, I’m left with a pleasant aftertaste, not because the dinner was delicious, but because of this fragrance which I’ve come to appreciate several months later. Fresh, powdery, and clean, with a sexy, sensual, and attractive air; it has that part that reminds of La Nuit de L’Homme, but with clean, fresh, and floral nuances that I loved. I don’t see it as a dark fragrance in itself; for couple’s nights it feels like super luxury. The women who perceived it liked it a lot, and I did too. For picking up someone it’s a very good option. Scent: 10. Projection: 2 hours. Longevity: 6, maybe 7 hours max. Highly recommended.

  • Delicious and very sexy. I thought it might be a dupe of something else (which is common with Zara), but I’m surprised to find it doesn’t match any other fragrance exactly. It’s true that it’s not particularly innovative; it might remind you of La Nuit de L’homme more due to the cardamom becoming prominent as it dries, but it also bears similarities to Azzaro Wanted or Halloween, without being as sweet or heavy. That said, the opening is identical to Valentino Born in Roma Intense for the first ten minutes, though it changes completely afterwards. For me, it’s highly addictive. I recommend spraying it several times and letting it mature for a few months, as this improves the performance slightly. After a few months without using it, it lasts about six hours on my skin with a projection of one to two hours. It’s a fragrance that invites people to get very close. I repeat, it’s highly addictive and sensual.

If you want to make a sensation and receive compliments, head to Zara and buy yourself the Black Edition. It’s the perfect scent to please others. I’ve never received so many compliments with a perfume; people have asked me in the university corridors, on the bus, and in the supermarket. Even the cafeteria waiter at uni asked about it and bought one. I’m not exaggerating; these are real situations. The opening is citrusy; I notice the orange blossom and nutmeg (or a slightly powdery and mildly bitter note). Then woods emerge that remind me of a mix of Boss Bottled and Invictus, with a sweet point and that powdery note that lingers. The words that describe it perfectly are ‘sensual’ and ‘masculine’. It has the effervescent point of Invictus but with a different scent, and I think that’s what pleases so much. It projects and lasts well, plus it’s at a bargain price. Overall, a well-rounded perfume to attract attention (for a good reason) without overwhelming and pleasing. I wear it every day at any time. For something very formal I’d use another because this doesn’t have much class, but for the rest of occasions it’s perfect.

If you want to turn heads and receive compliments, head to Zara and grab the Black Edition. It’s the perfect scent to charm others. I’ve never received so many compliments from a fragrance; people have asked me in the university corridors, on the bus, and even in the supermarket. The café waiter even asked about it and bought it himself. I’m not making this up; these are real situations. The opening is citrusy, with notes of bitter orange blossom and nutmeg (or perhaps a slightly powdery, bitter touch). Then come the woody notes, which remind me of Boss Bottled and Invictus, with a sweet undertone and that powdery quality that lingers. The words that define it are ‘sensual’ and ‘masculine’. It has the effervescence of Invictus but with a distinct scent, and I think that’s what makes it so appealing. It projects well and lasts a good while, plus it’s absolutely bargain-priced. Overall, it’s a well-rounded fragrance for attracting attention (for a good reason) without being overpowering. I wear it every day. For very formal occasions, I’d choose something else as this lacks a bit of class, but for everything else, it’s perfect.

  • To be honest, I didn’t expect much because florals have given me rejection since I tried ylang-ylang notes, but I was surprised. My collection consists of sweet perfumes and this one is very rich, masculine, and sensual; I didn’t know I liked them like this. It’s impossible for it to disappoint you, although I see it as youthful, suitable for daily wear but not in extreme heat. It has poor longevity and projection, staying beyond skin scent, but I like that; I feel it’s an embraceable perfume that gives confidence. I’d use it for special occasions with your girlfriend, do you understand?

An ultra-pleasing fragrance. A sweet, well-balanced blend of spicy and woody notes. It’s not fresh, yet not heavy; it’s very romantic, evoking a sense of comfort, even paternal warmth. It has a masculine yet tender personality. I see it as the perfect balance between the blue and sweet fruity notes found in winter perfumes. This is ideal for evening wear in mild or cool weather; while quite versatile for any season, if worn in heat, it should be reserved for night and special occasions. It’s a scent that everyone who smells it enjoys. It leans slightly towards maturity, but nothing a well-dressed 15-18-year-old couldn’t pull off. As for YSL’s La Nuit de L’Homme, they have nothing in common. I prefer this Zara one, as it’s warmer, whereas La Nuit is somewhat more versatile.

  • Ultra-pleasing fragrance, a sweet balance between spicy and woody. It’s neither fresh nor heavy, very romantic, cosy, even paternal, with a masculine yet tender personality. I see it as the balance between the blue and sweet fruity notes of winter perfumes. Totally for the night and temperate/fresh weather, versatile for any season, but in heat only for the night and occasions that warrant it. It smells good on everyone. It tends to be mature, but nothing a 15/18-year-old boy couldn’t wear if dressed well. As for YSL’s La Nuit de l’Homme, they have nothing to do with each other. This Zara one I like more; it’s warmer, whereas La Nuit is a bit more versatile.

  • The longevity surprised me: on my skin it lasted ten hours, although the projection was short, about two hours until it sat close to the skin. The opening didn’t suit me; it smelled of generic catalogue alcohol. A few minutes later it softened, leaving a rich but nothing spectacular scent. It’s a fragrance made to please, though it doesn’t delight at first sniff.

  • A simple and easy-to-please fragrance. Although I’m not a huge fan of masculine florals, this doesn’t disagree with me. Unlike others, it doesn’t smell overly masculine. The nutmeg stands out as it dries, giving a warm touch alongside the floral; a particular blend that usually pleases everyone without losing personality. It smells different from current fashion fragrances. It lasts quite a bit for a Zara scent, around six hours, although its projection is low, barely noticeable once you enter a room. Being original, pleasing to all, and affordable, it’s a good option with potential to become a signature scent.

  • A straightforward, easy-to-please fragrance; although I must admit I’m not a huge fan of floral scents for men, this one doesn’t put me off. Unlike many others here, I wouldn’t classify it as particularly masculine. The nutmeg becomes surprisingly prominent in the dry-down, adding a warm touch alongside the floral notes. It’s a unique blend that tends to appeal to everyone without losing its character, smelling quite different from most trendy fragrances out there. It lasts quite well for a Zara product, around six hours, though its projection is considerably low due to the note structure; you won’t notice it when you walk into a room, perhaps only when someone greets you. In conclusion, given its originality and broad appeal, it’s a good fragrance for the price and has the potential to become someone’s signature scent.

  • I fell in love with its vibrant, fresh, and modern opening… but then comes the surprise: that brightness fades and leaves something warm, clean, and tranquil, nothing more. I wish, even if the development is linear, that initial opening could be maintained.

  • I picked this up at Zara while looking for something without too many reviews, and I was hooked instantly. At first, it didn’t quite convince me, but with time it has improved and is now a solid 10. Ideal for quiet outings, day or night. I recommend it for fresh days or those with a bit of heat; in full winter, it tends to show less. Would I buy it again? Yes, provided the price remains so good.
