The structure runs from bitter almond and saffron at the top, through Egyptian jasmine and cedar in the heart, to grey amber, ambroxan, cashmere, woody notes and musk underneath.
The first impression brings together the dry nuttiness of bitter almond and the gentle heat of saffron. There is a bittersweet clarity to it that establishes the oriental direction without heaviness.
In the middle, Egyptian jasmine offers a clean white-floral note, kept fresh rather than powdery-soapy. Cedar lends a dry wooden frame that steadies the sweetness from the opening.
The drydown is the softest stage: grey amber and ambroxan give mineral depth and warmth, while cashmere, woody notes and musk create a smooth, talc-like veil on the skin.
