I have a The Collector discovery set with two extras (nine in total) and can confirm this is the most masculine and the only one that isn’t sweet, so it’s the one I like least. Is it wearable for women? Yes, if you don’t mind sweetness and aren’t bothered by oud. Most are unisex, but to me they smell quite feminine (I’m a woman and I love them). Almost all have similar longevity and moderate sillage, making them very versatile; I adore them, but Golden Oud is the one I won’t repurchase.

I’m surprised this fragrance has not a single review… I tried it yesterday at the El Corte Inglés in my city and haven’t seen it anywhere else. It belongs to the The Collector line and is, for me, one of the best offerings. The opening is brutal and can be repelling; the reason is the oud, which smells of resinous wood and is very bitter, bordering on unpleasant. Accompanied by woods, moss and musk, that intense, almost stale dry-down drives me mad, but as the oud fades it becomes a wearable woody scent. I imagine the solar notes give it a pleasant touch alongside the violet. I wouldn’t call it unisex; it feels more masculine. It smells enormous for the first five minutes, drops to moderate after about four hours, and then to skin scent for another ten. At fourteen hours it still smells of oud, woods, violet and what I assume are the solar notes.
