Descripción
Orange Aoud by Montale is a woody-spicy fragrance for men and women. Launched in 2014, this olfactory composition was created by Pierre Montale. The top notes reveal an intense oud wood, bergamot and saffron; the floral and earthy heart is built with violet, rose and patchouli; while the base notes leave a trail of leather, oakmoss, white musk and sandalwood.

Impossible not to smile when smelling it; the bottle is dull but inside it’s brilliant. My husband says it’s not unisex, but because of that violet note that lingers on my skin, I think it suits women better. One kiss.
Impossible not to smile when smelling it; the bottle isn’t much to look at but inside it’s wow. My husband doesn’t see it as unisex, but I humbly think, because of that violet note I sense on my skin, it suits women better. Kisses.
My boyfriend and I tried it. To me it smells of children’s modelling clay paints (the first half-hour was amusing), to him like old-fashioned barber products. I find it more masculine than feminine. It’s a fairly flat fragrance; I couldn’t distinguish a single note. Despite the charm of the initial surprise, I wouldn’t buy it even if I were mad.
I wore it with my boyfriend: to me it smells of children’s plasticine (I chuckled for a while) and to him like a traditional barbershop. It’s more masculine than feminine, quite flat with no standout notes, and although the initial surprise was amusing, I wouldn’t buy it even if I were mad.
Judging by the name I thought it would smell of orange, but that’s a lie. It’s pure oud. At first on my skin it smells of pure plastic, nothing else. Eventually the leather and sandalwood come through, very rich. It’s a suede-like leather, sweet, like coconut. I find it elegant and perfect for enjoyment. Ideally unisex, though more masculine. On a woman it smells like expensive soap, but on a man it’s deeply sexy. I might buy it later, for when I want to seem as though I’m not wearing perfume.
Look, judging by the name I thought it would smell of orange, but after trying it, only the name has orange. It’s pure oud. The opening on my skin was a joke; it smelled purely of plastic, nothing else. Eventually, the leather and sandalwood emerged, very delicious. It’s a suede-like leather, sweet, like coconut. I found it very elegant and perfect for personal enjoyment. Ideally unisex, though more masculine than feminine. On a woman it smells like expensive soap, but on a man it’s deeply sexy. I might buy it later, for when I want to seem as though I’m not wearing perfume.
