It has a wonderful smell and lasts a long time; it projects for four hours and then lingers on the skin for another three or four. The blend of leather and violet gives it a talc-like touch that feels absolutely delicious. The scent is strong but not sharp.
Well, the scent is outstanding and very noticeable; it projects for about four hours before settling into a close skin scent for another three or four. That blend of leather and violet gives it a powdery touch that smells absolutely divine; strong yet without being sharp.
Right, just two or three sprays and you’re good. Magnetic cap, diluted version… If it’s an improvement, well done. Friends, let’s get straight to the point: if you don’t like it, say so, it’s not for you, but don’t throw the fragrance away. How are you going to get any mileage out of just two sprays? Good heavens. As for the scent, it’s in the line of Monsieur Pierre, who is an artist with fragrances that are hard to classify (unisex); this is a real gem from Mancera: fresh, citrusy, floral, deep, with a woody base and a soapy note. It’s one of those that has magic; it smells like expensive soap. Try it first, regards.
Hello, two or three sprays… a diluted version with a magnetic cap. If it’s an improvement, fine. Friends, let’s focus a bit: if you don’t like it or it doesn’t suit you, say so and move on; don’t waste the fragrance. But how do you get any performance from just two sprays? Good heavens. As for the scent, Monsieur Pierre is a genius with difficult-to-classify unisex fragrances; this is a real gem from Mancera: fresh, citrusy, floral, deep, with a woody base and a soapy touch. It has that special magic, smelling of expensive soap. Always test first. Best wishes.
Mix Jouyera Aoud Lemon Mint with The Dreamer and a cocktail of fruits and dried flowers and you’re done. It’s elegant, fresh, slightly sweet, dark and mysterious. It lasts less than six hours on my skin and the trail is moderate. I wouldn’t buy it again, especially the diluted version with the magnetic cap.
If you know Montale, you know the differences Mancera adds to the oud. Aoud Blue Notes is complex, with facets that keep changing, sensual and energetic, fresh and warm at the same time. Delicious fruits, a fleeting sensation of aldehydes, amber woods, contemporary violet, ylang, rose, leather and woods. A lavish display of modernity that needs time to settle; noticeable both day and night. The freshness prevents it from becoming musty, keeping it luminous, with an almost summery and soft oud. The title is no joke; it’s a robust combination of gaia and sandalwood that evokes the resin of oud without the rawness, dominating the medicinal side. It catches the eye but needs to be tried. The best part is when the floral heart enters, soft and gentle without being feminine. Roses, sweet and sexy ylang with an earthy and purple touch, define the complexity. Decent performance, moderate trail for the first two hours if you apply a bit more. Totally unisex, try before buying as it’s not for everyone.
At first I liked it but I prefer Aoud Lemon Mint. This one is more serious and, despite that, goes unnoticed; it projects nothing or perhaps I should use more sprays. With Mancera I usually use two or three and that’s enough; with Red Tobacco just two because it projects a lot, and with Cedrat Boise and Lemon Mint I use three. It smells rich; I sense something fruity with a woody and floral base. Season: autumn, winter, spring. Lasts six to eight hours. Low trail.
I liked it at first, but I prefer Aoud Lemon Mint. This one is more serious and, despite that, goes unnoticed; it projects very little and has no sillage, perhaps I should use more sprays. Few people own this scent. It’s totally unisex with excellent longevity due to the high concentration of essential oils. The projection is moderate to low. The opening smells like dental anaesthesia, as others have noted. For those familiar with Cacharel’s Nemo, it’s very similar, though Mancera’s version is far more concentrated. It’s sweet and floral, yet not something commonly found in today’s market, although some feminine perfumes do feature that floral note. Don’t buy it blindly, but if you’re seeking something outside the mainstream, go for it.
I bought it yesterday and, to be honest, it was a disappointment. I couldn’t detect any citrus notes whatsoever. In truth, the florals dominate every stage, particularly the violet.
I bought it yesterday and, to be honest, it’s a disappointment; I couldn’t find any citrus notes, not by chance. The truth is that the flowers dominate every stage, especially the violet.
It starts with a dentist’s anaesthetic scent, but once it dries down, it fades into a sweet floral blend with fruity notes that works beautifully on my skin. I don’t detect much leather or vanilla, but rather wood, violet and rose in the base. It’s exquisite and versatile (though not for formal occasions), perfect for spring and summer. Lasts over 12 hours with a moderate sillage. Totally unisex and wonderful.
The opening is strange, reminiscent of dental anaesthesia. However, once that scent dries down, a delicious fruity-floral accord emerges. On my skin, it’s a sweet floral that barely reveals the leather or vanilla; instead, you sense the wood in the background with violet, rose, and fruit. It’s rich and quite versatile, though not strictly formal. Best for spring and summer. Lasts over 12 hours with moderate sillage. Smells superb, completely unisex. Exquisite.
Excellent fragrance. I purchased it on Friday, 29 May 2020. It’s a marvel. You can wear it from 5 pm onwards because it opens with rich, fresh, juicy citrus and fruits. In the heart, you detect those lovely florals and rose, perfect for enjoying on cold nights with a base of rose, vanilla, and oud. Very beautiful. To truly understand it, don’t buy it blindly, as you might not like it at first, which happened to me. It took three or four uses before I fell in love and started enjoying it. It’s a scent you won’t find in other fragrances. If you have the chance to try it in a perfumery, do so. If you like it immediately, you won’t regret it; if not, give it several chances until you love it as much as I do. Simply wonderful.
