Descripción

Gold Prestigium by Mancera is a fragrance from the Leather family, created for men and women. Launched in 2016, this composition was designed by perfumer Pierre Montale. In its opening, the oud wood, pepper, and bergamot provide a spiced and exotic start; the heart reveals the delicacy of orange blossom and rose; while the base settles on a warm and sensual foundation of vanilla, leather, white musk, and oakmoss.

This smells very rich, juicy and high quality; it’s definitely unisex, with that distinctive Mancera touch. It’s sweet and fresh, you can feel the vanilla quite a bit, but it balances very well with the Oud. Classic Vanilla-Oud combo with a fresh touch. Would I buy it? I don’t know, I think I need to think about it very carefully. Although I would use it, it doesn’t kill me to buy it when there are other sweeter, more masculine proposals. But definitely, if you’re looking for something with that Vanilla-Oud combo, sweet and fresh, unisex and high quality, and you don’t mind paying for a Mancera bottle, then this is for you.

  • I’ve been wearing this fragrance for over 2 years and it commands respect. It smells rich, lasts around 12 hours, with a beastly trail and projection. Recommended for day and cold nights.

  • Hello. On the official Mancera website it appears only as ‘men’s fragrance’, so the house considers it for men. I see it that way too and feel it’s a well-masculine and not very feminine fragrance from start to finish. Let everyone wear what they like, there’s no point in less. It’s a fragrance with class, elegance and character, developing and lingering in a moderate way. I see it for fresh or cold climates (winter, autumn and less hot spring) and for formal or semi-formal events, such as dinner, but not for the club. Regarding this EDP: the opening is bright with oud wood and tonic bergamot, highlighted by pepper. The heart develops between rose petals and fresh, slightly sweet white floral notes. The initial aromas don’t disappear immediately; they linger in the background, fading slowly. The base puts an excellent and light vanilla alongside a leather that’s midway between soft and rough. In short, it’s an exquisite and resolutely bright fragrance. Point to note: in niche, it’s highly recommended to always test an EDP, parfum or extrait on skin before buying.

  • Hello. On the official Mancera website this fragrance is listed only as a ‘men’s fragrance’ so the house views it as masculine. I also perceive it as very masculine and not at all feminine from start to finish. From here on let everyone wear what they like that’s the least we can expect. It is a classy elegant and characterful fragrance that evolves moderately. I see it suited to fresh or cold climates (winter autumn and the less hot part of spring) and for formal or semi-formal events. In the latter case for example I would see it for going to dinner but not for a club (there are other options at Mancera for that). As for how this ‘eau de parfum’ expresses itself: the opening is a bright appearance of oud wood and uplifting bergamot highlighted by pepper. The heart evolves harmoniously between a rose petal scent and a fresh slightly sweet white floral note. Here the initial aromas do not disappear immediately but linger in the background until they gradually fade. The base offers an excellent light vanilla alongside a leather that sits somewhere between soft and rugged. In short it is an exquisite and resolutely brilliant fragrance. A side note: regarding niche fragrances it is highly recommended to always test an EDP a ‘parfum’ or an ‘extrait de parfum’ on the skin before buying.

  • Oh! My goodness, what is this? A delicious and addictive fragrance. It’s a spiced leather over boozy vanilla that dries down to a sweet scent without being cloying, a sweetness just right for a woman to enjoy without putting a man off. In the end, it leaves a sweet vanilla with light oud and leather playing second fiddle to the vanilla; I can’t stop smelling it. Holy Jesus, if you’re a man, please buy it, don’t think about it. It’s delicious, I want to eat myself. Imagine this on a man. I’m a woman and I’ll wear it and share it with my husband. It’s unisex leaning towards masculine. The oud isn’t aggressive here; it’s light and tolerable, telling you ‘hello, here I am, I’m here to support you’, unlike Ombre Nomade by LV which tells you ‘I’m here to kill you’. I don’t know why people don’t talk about this marvel; I’m glad it’s less mass-produced. I’ve seen all the English reviews and no one speaks ill of it.

  • Good stuff, there are few reviews of this perfume and I didn’t know it until it arrived by chance. It smells very good, quite sweet, slightly sparkling, but with a mature touch, not really for under 25s (though everyone uses what they want). The opening is strange: citrus, woody, sour and sweet; it can clash a bit. But it’s worth waiting out because the dry-down is the best. In the heart phase, the sweetness becomes more pleasant and less strident. You can detect a woody vanilla with floral touches. As for the leather? I don’t sense it, or it’s camouflaged amongst the moss and musk (there’s a fresh/bitter hint). The longevity on skin is good, although it can cause olfactory fatigue. On clothes, it lasts for days. The trail is brutal at first, then drops and settles into a bubble… but it’s still there, I assure you. I like it, but I’m waiting for winter to try it properly; I think that’s where its true potential lies.

Well there are few reviews of this perfume and I didn’t know it either; it arrived by chance. It smells great quite sweet and sparkling but with a mature touch that I don’t think would suit someone under 25 (everyone knows what they want). The opening is strange: citrus woody sour and sweet at the same time which can be a bit jarring. But it is worth sticking with it because the dry-down is the best 😛 In the middle the sweetness becomes more pleasant and less strident; you can notice a woody vanilla with floral touches. The leather? I don’t sense it or at least I can’t distinguish it; if it is there it is camouflaged among the moss and musk (there is a fresh/bitter hint). The longevity on skin is good although it can cause some olfactory fatigue. On clothes it lasts for days. The trail is brutal at first then drops and stays in a bubble… but it is felt I assure you. I like it but I am waiting for winter to try it properly; I believe that is where its true potential lies… Best wishes.

  • It’s a unisex with a sweetness I absolutely adore. Although my nose isn’t an expert, I detect almond notes and a very wearable oud. At first, it didn’t quite convince me, but over time it has become one of my favourites. Value for money: a steal for a niche fragrance. Lasts around 14 hours with a trail of at least 5. Blind buy: 50/50. If a woman tries it, it will be love at first sight; for me, it took a few days to find the accord. Quality: 10/10. Lasts until the next day like a charm. Trail: a minimum of 5 metres for 5 hours. Gender: unisex, leaning towards feminine, but it depends on personal taste. Price: around $85-90 in Chile. PS: This is my first review, greetings.
