Finally, a Guilty without patchouli…
On opening, a lovely amaretto, but then comes a heavy patchouli that lasts for hours and that’s when I gave up. The dry down is silky, with habanillo, coffee and vanilla. If you like this description, it’s perfect, the quality is outstanding. It comes out oily, very long-lasting and clearly for cold weather, unisex.
Totally neutral, not feminine; I’d wear it as a man. Opens with a sweet citrus and roasted almond, not like Guerlain, but like an undefined ripe fruit, raspberry or blackberry. It has a burnt touch and then the coffee takes over with a tonka-vanilla base; little liquor or rose. Definitely nocturnal, not very versatile but ideal for a cold winter’s day.
I have the mini version and only detect almond and coffee; the other notes don’t come out on my skin. It smells like tiramisu, I like it but I wouldn’t wear it, perhaps I need time. If you like coffee in perfumes, you’ll love it.
