  • Sweet, like a delicious freshly baked cake. Very long-lasting and feminine. I love it, but not for everyday wear or for summer.

  • Hanae Mori is an oriental fragrance with gourmand facets. Some smell it as a strawberry cream dessert, but to me it’s strawberries, blackberries, raspberries, and currants in a bowl with icing sugar and a few drops of vanilla. The enigma is that it smells of vanilla without actually containing it; the blend of acidic fruits with the creaminess of sandalwood creates a sophisticated vanilla illusion. It’s a dry, opaque vanilla, not cloying. I perceive it as powdery, not like baby powder, but rather like icing sugar or shortbread. The fruit’s acidity keeps it fresh despite its oriental nature. It projects tenderness, warmth, tranquility, and elegance, like a hug. It has a shabby-chic, vintage, and adorably dishevelled air. If I could touch it, it would feel velvety like a peach or an angora sweater. I love wearing it in winter to curl up. It projects well but lacks longevity on my skin; I have to reapply it a couple of times, perhaps layering it with vanilla body cream.

  • SOE GARELIK

A perfume with considerable body, for a strong, captivating, and passionate woman, yet sweet at the same time. One of my favourites.

  • SOE GARELIK

It has a strong presence, ideal for an intense, passionate yet sweet woman. It is one of my favourites.

  • Sweet, sweet, sweet. Later I discovered the softer EDT version with a powdery undertone. However, my first experience was with an EDP sample that lasted all day and gave me a headache of equal duration.

  • Sweet, sweet, sweet. Later I discovered the softer eau de toilette version with a powdery background. But my first experience was with an eau de parfum sample that lasted all day and also gave me a headache :/.

  • Delicious. I just bought it and realised I love powdery perfumes. I don’t find it sweet; it smells more of roses, but it’s absolutely divine.

  • Delicious. I just bought it and realised I adore powdery perfumes. To me, it doesn’t smell sweet but rather of roses; however, it is absolutely divine.

  • I bought it blindly and what a mistake. Reviews described it as sweet and exquisite, smelling of strawberry dessert, and I was let down. I’m not saying it’s bad, simply I don’t like rose notes and they are noticeable from the start. It doesn’t smell of vanilla or dessert. It gave me a headache; I don’t know what I’ll do with it.

  • I bought it blindly and what a mistake. Reviews described it as sweet and exquisite, smelling of strawberry dessert, and I was let down. I’m not saying it’s bad, but I don’t like rose notes, and they are noticeable from the start. It doesn’t smell like vanilla or dessert at all. It even gave me a headache; I’m not sure what I’ll do with it.

  • I own the EDT (Pink Butterfly) and the EDP (Blue Butterfly), and for me, they are worlds apart. The EDT is innocent, light, and unfolds a red fruit sweetness, mainly strawberry, throughout its evolution without any harshness. It’s a delicate cloud with a faint vanilla note at the base. The EDP is creamy, very vanilla-forward, and woody, typical of the 90s; it smells the same from the start and has no red fruit. Pure vanilla and wood. They share a name, but the difference in scent goes far beyond the concentration.

  • Review of the EDP (Blue Butterfly). On my skin, the fruity note doesn’t come out; it is floral and woody with a powdery vanilla. It is sweet and feminine but very delicate (it doesn’t give me a headache). It was my favourite when my daughter was born; it envelops me softly and lovingly. It lasts six hours with a good trail, then about three hours on the skin as a sweet vanilla and sandalwood dry down.

  • On my skin, the fruity notes disappear, leaving a floral woody scent with powdery vanilla. It’s sweet and feminine yet delicate, nothing headache-inducing. It became my favourite when my daughter was born because it feels like a soft, loving embrace. It lasts six hours with good sillage, then about three hours on the skin alone, with that sweet vanilla and sandalwood scent.
