I tested it in a department store and found it interesting at first, smelling citrusy and fresh. However, after three minutes, that particular aroma started to bother me. To be honest, I don’t dislike it entirely, but it does unsettle me (hence the name). On my skin, it doesn’t evolve much. I detect lemon and blueberries, a combination I don’t consider fortunate: it’s acidity with a slightly bitter yet sweet touch. I don’t sense the peony in the heart or the patchouli in the base. In conclusion, it’s not a fragrance I enjoy on my skin; while I like fresh citrus, this one feels sour to me. It’s hard to describe; it doesn’t smell floral as the classification suggests. The result is uncertainty; I don’t feel it is sensual, warm, or fresh. Some perfumes I like and others I don’t, but this falls into an uncertain category because it’s not indifferent to me (could it be the angel and the demon?). What I am sure of is that it has excellent longevity.

I simply love it. It was my first ‘expensive’ scent and the one that sparked my passion. I received it as a gift, which is why I hold it in special affection. I enjoy the top notes the most; the fresh, sweet blueberry is delightful, leaving a soft, tender dry down. It is definitely one of my favourites for any occasion; I find it incredibly versatile.

A truly gorgeous daytime fragrance. Citrusy and fun. Moderate trail with short longevity, but I adore it alongside the entire Ange ou Démon collection.

  • Beautiful fragrance, citrusy yet not sour. Fresh and still intense. It lasts long on my skin and the scent remains strong for several hours. I really liked it, though the intensity didn’t quite convince me at first. I tried the EDT version and was pleasantly surprised. I recommend it 100% if you’ve tried this and had the same experience.

  • Beware, it happened to me and I was greatly disappointed. I had tried the original Ange ou Demon Le Secret EDP and loved it so much that I wanted to own it. I found it at a good price on Bodybell and ordered it. As soon as I sprayed it, I realised it wasn’t the same: it’s the 2014 edition, also an EDP, but different. It opens with green, harsh notes, a potent, sour, bitter and very artificial, annoying and synthetic citrus. Fortunately, after half an hour it softens, it’s no longer so aggressive and becomes more pleasant, but loses projection, barely noticeable. What a disappointment. If I had looked at the bottle I would have realised it was different, the 2014 edition doesn’t have the ribbon.

  • I love this perfume; I recommend it 100%. As its name suggests, it creates an enigmatic sensation and works for day and night. To me, it’s fruity, citrusy, with a woody touch that makes it striking; it’s not heavy or overwhelming, very fresh for the day and elegant for the night. It lasts throughout the day, though it becomes more subtle towards the end. When I bought it, I wanted something different from my usual favourites, Carolina Herrera or Perry Ellis, and I was pleasantly surprised. It seems very attractive to those around me; the first time I applied it, several friends commented on how lovely it smelled. My husband also adores it. It’s not traditional; you feel you pass by and leave behind an enigmatic fragrance.

  • One of my favourites; you smell it and it’s unmistakable. I detect roses and water lily. The trail is quite extensive and I love it.

I owned the 2009 version. A friend wore it and I couldn’t resist asking about her perfume; she told me the name and I bought it. I used it a lot, then after trying several others, I felt inspired again in 2019, but only the 2014 version was available. It smells the same, though not as woody as the 2009 one, yet they are almost similar. I’ve worn it for nine hours and I can still smell it. It was a gift from my husband and he adored it. No one has said anything in the car or at work, but I notice people turning when they pass my trail. I feel I don’t go unnoticed; it’s a different, very rich perfume.

Good morning, afternoon or evening, depending on when you read this. I’ll be brief: it’s my favourite fragrance, my daily perfume. People recognise me by this scent; I simply love it.

  • Highly recommended. I rarely buy 100 ml bottles as they tend to overwhelm me, but this one hasn’t worn me out. It’s a pity they reformulated it; I preferred the previous version by far. Still, it’s exquisite. That lime blends beautifully with the sweetness, creating something fantastic. I receive many compliments and always wear it in summer for the freshness. I insist: the original was richer and lasted longer. The 2014 version is more volatile and doesn’t persist as well, but I still enjoy it. Best wishes from Mendoza, Argentina ♥

  • It’s delicious, perfect for summer. Fresh, cheerful, youthful, but on my skin it doesn’t last more than two hours.

  • One word: delicious. Generally, the brand doesn’t disappoint me. I love its sillage and longevity, but I’m not sure if the Croisière version (with frost) is discontinued; I still have a little left in the bottle and I love it madly. It’s in my top three favourites.

  • A chronicle of going from hatred to love with just a change in temperature. I received it in winter and was disappointed upon trying it. I didn’t like it and felt I’d searched hard and paid a lot for what I perceived as basically green tea. However, following recommendations from Facebook groups, I decided to keep it until summer rather than exchange it. How grateful I am! Indeed, it is green tea beautifully surrounded by lemon and red fruits (which don’t come out in the cold). It feels elegant, refreshing, and perfect for summer. Although I think it’s more of a daytime scent, it also works for an informal night out. Its sillage is soft to moderate, so I apply it generously and it lasts about seven hours. Although I won’t be repurchasing, I would if I found it. Scent 8/10, Longevity 7.5/10, Sillage 6.5/10, Value for money 6.5/10, Versatility 5/10, Packaging 7.5/10. Would I buy it again? Yes.

  • In my opinion, it smells rich and citrusy, but it doesn’t last on my skin at all. I bought it on a whim and today I could gift it or swap it for something else for the coming seasons (spring, summer). I have it on my left hand and ‘Gouttes de Couleur’ by Agatha Ruiz de la Prada on my right, and I find them very similar… perhaps not a dupe, but very alike so far.

  • Vale Barajas

It’s delicious; on my skin, I find it super elegant but suitable for the day. I wouldn’t recommend it for the evening. I perceive it with super creamy red berries; I love it, what a pity they reformulated it.

  • Micaocean

A very rich fragrance, a floral version of the original with excellent longevity.

  • MissOlores

A beautiful, elegant, and tender fragrance. It’s a citrus peony that I love. Perfect for spring and summer. On my skin, it has a soft resemblance to Sisley’s Izia, although it doesn’t quite match that one’s longevity. Straight into my basket.

  • A daytime perfume with lots of lemon and tea. A real treat. The dry-down of the Elixir is very similar, but this is fresher due to the lemon, very stimulating, clean, elegant, and zen. Excellent longevity and projection in this EDP. More for spring-summer daytime, positive vibes. It’s not a cologne; it’s a great perfume. I adore the tea scent.

  • I’d re-recommend it: it’s like lemon tea with soft fruits and fresh flowers. Ideal if you’re looking for citrus without being cloying, elegant florals, or refined fruit notes. If you enjoy that astringent, stimulating touch of tea, it’s perfect for you. It lasts and projects well; it’s a daytime scent, but why not on a summer night? A delight, smells super natural and high quality. Givenchy hasn’t disappointed me.

  • Smells absolutely delicious, citrusy and fresh, but it vanishes from my skin instantly. No sillage, just clings to the skin. Considering the price and performance, I wouldn’t recommend it; I won’t be buying it again. I adored the Elixir, which earned me so many compliments, so I blindly tried this flanker and it wasn’t what I expected.

  • A profound disappointment. The scent is exquisite, moving away from heavy gourmands… but its longevity is a 10. IT DOESN’T LAST AT ALL. It lasts me longer than my baby’s Johnsons Baby cologne. Total disappointment. For the price I paid, it makes me furious.

  • I really like this perfume and have received good compliments. On my skin, it smells like fermented grapes, sweet but not cloying, and it also lasts quite a while.

  • One of my favourite fragrances for the heat: it’s sweet but not cloying; on the contrary, it’s very fresh, like black tea with blueberries. Since I found it, I’ve been looking for more perfumes that give me that rich iced tea aroma ♡

  • ambrelover

It could be good, but it has a horrible synthetic pomade note that ruins everything. The tea and blueberry note is enjoyed a lot, with some background rose, but I think the problem is that plastic pomade and the aquatic lotus note that accentuate the cheap perfume smell. I love the original and expected a more spring-like version, but it was a huge disappointment.

  • I love this fragrance: it’s unique, fresh, enigmatic, and elegant. It seems very special to me, distinct, a sweet freshness and sophistication. It’s ideal for daytime, although I’d like it to last longer. But I keep buying it because its longevity is regular to good. I consider it a must-have!! ❤️

  • Maky'zarty

This perfume is special because it was a gift. It smells delicious, floral, like a bouquet of neroli with a sweet touch that fits my gourmand style perfectly. Fresh and elegant for summer, with tremendous longevity; it’s the one that lasts the longest in my entire collection. Simply beautiful.

  • Bibilalique

My husband insists it must never be missing from the house. That tea and blueberry blend is exquisite, attractive, and fresh. I don’t wear it for formal events, but for everything else and all year round.

  • It’s a staple in my collection; you never get tired of it. When it runs out, I’ll buy it again because it’s perfect: a particular, fresh, and unique essence. I adore it 💜 and it lasts about 2 or 3 hours.

  • charlotinable

It smells like a mix of Elizabeth Arden Green Tea, Dior Addict Eau Delice, Arden Beauty, a touch of Gucci Bamboo, some Flora, and those citrus notes that are always abundant. It’s that soft cleanliness, relaxing freshness, and striking elegance; exquisite, yes. I’ve loved it. Here, the tea and blueberry with their citrus notes create a potent rose that blends with a shy peony that barely peeks out, all over a soft, musky vanilla. Truly, it’s beautiful.

Finally arrived today after wanting it for so long, along with its sibling, Ange ou Demon. My first impressions: I initially thought I’d be disappointed, but seconds later I noticed an incredible citrus blend. On my skin, the first 10 minutes featured a super-feminine grapefruit with lovely, non-soapy jasmine notes. Then the tea enters, sweet yet fresh, likely blueberry, while the jasmine lingers to create a very original combination that has nothing to do with my other perfumes. It’s sparkling and very long-lasting; it’s worth it. Every penny is justified; in mild weather, I wear it on autumn/winter afternoons, but it suits all year round. It’s perfect as a signature scent, with such a peculiar aroma that it sticks in the mind. I’ve loved it, although I’m more of a Moschino Toy 2 person, this is also beautiful. Ultra-feminine, lovely, and memorable.

  • It’s summer here and I enjoy it immensely. I love that tea, citrus, and jasmine aroma. It lasts between 8 and 10 hours, which doesn’t usually last long on me. Givenchy quality. It’s one of those perfumes that, even if I have many, when it runs out, I’m sure I’ll replenish it. Beautiful, elegant, fresh, distinct. A hit for any summer event or just to feel fresh and elegant.

  • Alicia Munoz

It’s one of those perfumes I can perceive throughout the day and make me feel lovely, feminine, put-together, a proper ‘coquette’ as they say these days. I love it! It’s one of those I plan to replenish when it runs out.

  • Lagioianena91

I don’t know what I like so much about this perfume. It’s the sparkling finish. I don’t know which note it is, but it seems like pepper in aroma; it has a sting. There’s no other similarity. That finish is unique.

  • Flowerpower

It’s my signature scent, the one I’ll never be without; I’ve been using it since it launched and nothing will dethrone it 🥰. Recently I bought Moschino Funny and they remind me of each other! For me, Ange ou Demon is tea-lime-jasmine and Funny is tea-orange-jasmine; they share notes and as they dry down, they become increasingly similar. Try it and it will clear my doubts!

  • LoreToledo

Years ago, I smelled a decant of this perfume in a shop, presumably the previous version (which I couldn’t buy), and I found it exquisite. I just bought the 2014 version and liked it very much, although I notice a similarity with Still by JLo (due to the tea). It’s potent, citrusy, elegant, fresh, and extremely addictive; I think it will be one of my favourites. The price is high and I still don’t know the sillage, but the longevity is decent for an EDP (around 8 hours and then skin scent).

  • Josfer0512

Delicious, elegant, and fresh, totally different from Ange ou Demon in the dark bottle. I love it, but the longevity doesn’t suit my skin. I moisturise before applying it and don’t perceive it. It almost becomes one of my favourites, but due to that longevity detail, I’m a bit disappointed. They say fragrances macerate and become more lasting over time, I hope so because it is exquisite.

  • Rich, fresh, and soft. Perhaps the name of this flanker is very well chosen: ‘secrets’ and personal enjoyment. It flatters the original greatly, but it’s obvious they have nothing to do with each other. I don’t think I’ll buy it, although it’s a very good option for those who love soft scents; it is rich, truly.

  • Unconditional love. In the heat, it wraps me in a fresh, luminous aroma. It reveals a soft blend of citrus and florals, especially jasmine and peonies. Very feminine and unmistakable. Every time I wear it, I close my eyes, smile, and think: ‘Thank you, thank you, thank you for this perfume!!!’

  • LaMelitaParfumLover201219

I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE it! Irresistibly chic. It’s been my signature scent for spring and summer for four years now. I finish a bottle and start another (I always have a backup). On my skin, it’s orange, grapefruit, and blueberries to the max, blended with jasmine, rose, and peony fused with musk, woods, and a touch of vanilla. Good longevity and an incredible sillage. In one word: luminous ❤️

  • Not at all rich! Fresh and soft. As I usually wear heavy fragrances, this is my perfect alternative for hot days: rich, fresh, and elegant.
