I haven’t tried the original version; I have the 2014 edition and I’m hooked. Although a YouTuber described it as ‘mainstream’, to me it smells like iced lemon tea; the flowers emerge later, but the citrus dominates softly. I don’t know about the sillage as no one has mentioned it, but the longevity is top-notch: I apply it at 7:30 am and can still smell it after 12 hours. I picked it up cheap at a department store, so I’ll definitely restock.

My mother adores it. In Nicaragua, it’s impossible to find; when it arrives, women who know it buy out the entire stock. I had to travel to Miami to purchase it. I absolutely love a feminine fragrance with that burst of sweetness. The sillage isn’t cloying; it’s perfect for a modern, young, and cheerful woman.

  3. It has been my favourite fresh scent for over 10 years, although I only had a sample back then. Now I have the full bottle and I love it. It’s fresh, suitable for daily wear or formal occasions, and it relaxes me, putting me in a good mood. If I could only have two perfumes, I’d choose this for the heat and the original Ange ou Demon for the cold. Edit: I have the old formula, and although the sillage is moderate, I’ve managed to keep it on my skin for 14 hours.

  4. Fantastic fragrance, my absolute favourite that simply can’t be missing. It’s delicious and unique, elegant yet delicate. It accompanies you for hours and can be used daily without being intrusive, yet leaves an exquisite trail. It’s the one that has received the most praise from others and suits any occasion.

It’s rich but not one of my favourites. I detect a slightly sweet lemon and jasmine; although it’s described as very feminine, I perceive it as unisex, clean and elegant, like soap. I gave it to my husband and it suits him well. I think it’s best for spring on hot days as it’s a bit strong. Every nose is a different world.

  6. It reminds me of a fruity tea with fresh lemon alongside a bouquet of delicate flowers, those home teas from our childhood, with an intimate and cosy feel. It’s a very different flanker from the original, which had a different proposal. It’s innocent, fresh and exquisitely balanced, becoming one of my favourites for that happy ‘at home’ sensation. Versatile due to its freshness blending flowers, fruits and citrus. Simple and charming.

I love this perfume. It bears no resemblance to the first Ange Ou Demon; it’s more floral and fresh. I enjoyed it until the last drop and liked it more than its reformulation.

It’s my go-to perfume, the one that must not be missing, I love it madly! Haha It has just the right amount of citrus, just the right amount of floral and just the right amount of sweetness. It’s hard to explain because for me it’s a perfect balance. The citrus isn’t nauseating and the floral isn’t cloying. On my skin it lasts about 6 to 8 hours, it doesn’t leave much of a trail but people have praised it quite a bit. I see it as ideal for a lovely afternoon or evening out. A little more summery or spring-like but I use it in all seasons. It’s just the right amount of sexy without drawing attention. Hyper recommended! I think many will like it.

I owned it in 2010. The previous version was brilliant but more delicate and sensual. Now I have the 2014 relaunch and it’s brighter; the soft tenderness disappears and only appears when the bouquet’s power fades. The past cannot be returned, so we must enjoy what we have. What is it now? Canned green tea with lemon. By the way, there are far fewer blueberries than in the original, and frankly, I’m not sure there are enough.

It’s my go-to fragrance, the one that simply can’t be missing; I love it madly. It has just the right amount of citrus, floral and sweetness. It’s hard to explain, but it’s a perfect balance: the citrus isn’t overpowering and the floral isn’t cloying. It lasts 6 to 8 hours on my skin, doesn’t leave a huge sillage but has received many compliments. I see it as ideal for an evening or night out, a bit more summery or spring-like, yet I use it in all seasons. It’s the right amount of sexy without drawing attention. Highly recommended; I think many will like it.

  11. This has been my signature fragrance for years; I’ve had it since its launch. It’s delicate, feminine, elegant and simple. It lasts more than 8 hours on my skin, but its sillage is very intimate, which doesn’t bother me as I have other perfumes when I want to make an impression. I believe it has no defined age, but it would suit young women very well. It’s delicious and one of the fragrances that should never be missing from my collection.

  13. Simply the best! Too sexy, fresh, floral and citrusy. It has nothing to do with other perfumes; undoubtedly one of the most feminine I’ve tried. With a few drops of this wonder, magic happens all by itself.

This smells very green and citrusy with a floral touch, super refreshing for intense heat days. At first, the lemon and tea leaves are very perceptible, giving an astringent sensation, then a delicious and intense peony emerges, with a shy jasmine, and by evening it smells of patchouli and woods. I like it but don’t love it; it seems like one of the many fresh options for heat that don’t last long and its projection is very poor on my skin; I don’t think the quality justifies the price. It’s pleasant, easy to wear, very daytime, all-rounder, feminine and simple. I would have hoped for infinitely greater longevity and sillage. More aimed at a youthful audience.

It’s a very green, citrusy perfume with a floral touch, super refreshing for stifling hot days. At first, the lemon with tea leaves is very noticeable, giving an astringent sensation; then a rich, intense peony appears, along with a shy jasmine, and after an hour it smells of patchouli and woods on the skin. I like it but don’t love it; I think it’s just another option among refreshing perfumes for heat that last little and have very poor projection on my skin. 16. A very good scent; I like it in summer. At first it’s citrusy, but afterwards it leaves a soft, warm woody trail, subtle and sensual.

I like it more and more every day. I don’t know what’s wrong with this brand; almost all of them fall in love with me. It’s feminine to the max, sweet in just the right measure and with the exact point of freshness. It’s a basic that no woman should be without. I said it was a bit overwhelming, but in the end it falls in love with you.

  19. It’s a difficult scent to describe; it doesn’t resemble any other I’ve smelled. Out of the bottle it seems exquisite, but I must confess it’s not for my skin; the longevity wasn’t what I expected and it turned a bit sweet (I hate sweet perfumes). But on other skins it could come across as sophisticated.

  20. Exquisite! Sweet, floral, citrusy… From the first time I smelled it, I didn’t hesitate to want it in my collection (I rarely hesitate before buying a perfume). It’s delicate and elegant, reminding me a bit of Miss Dior but without so much patchouli. Watch out, the patchouli is there, but super soft. The notes I feel most are tea, peony and blueberry. 9/10 just because I’d like it to project a bit more, but it still fascinates me. It’s already in my top. Edit: I recommend it for spring and summer; with the warmth of the skin it projects more, but in winter and autumn the scent tends to disappear quickly.

  21. I must admit I prefer the first version of ‘Ange ou Demon’, which I find much sexier, bolder and more mysterious than the subsequent ones. This ‘Ange ou Demon le secret’ doesn’t smell bad and is a pleasant fruity floral perfume, ideal for the hottest days, although it turns out a bit shy to cover the seductive concept it aims for. On my skin it has a sweet, rather fruity scent, with medium longevity and sillage. I never consider it for special occasions, as it’s very similar to other proposals flooding the market: youthful, pleasant, luminous, but not very original.

  22. Top notes are unique and noticeable from miles away. The trail is brutal and the longevity is insane; even after showering the next day, I can still smell it amongst my hair.

  23. I already owned the Elixir and loved it, so I bought this blind version. I like it; it smells very similar but with more flowers, citrus, and wood. However, the acidic and citrusy touch is strong. On my skin, lemon and wood quickly dominate. I only wear it in heat and humidity because it is incredibly refreshing. The longevity and trail are amazing, just like all the Ange ou Demon line.

A very pleasant and balanced fragrance with long-lasting power. It is elegant, perfect for everyday wear, and in my opinion, suitable for the middle of the season. It is not tiring. A distinguished scent, ideal for women over 25.
