‘Solar Notes’? I still don’t know what they were referring to with that pretentious term. The perfume is very pleasant, fruity, floral and warm, with that exquisite quince aromatic note. It could be for cool summer afternoons. As for age, I think it’s quite wearable. I’d give it a 6 out of 10.
I tried it and loved it. It leaves a soft yet long-lasting and delicious scent on the skin. It reminds me of a good dip in the sea, white sands and tropical flowers (the red poppy is noticeable), with notes of a tropical cocktail (quince and carambola) all bathed in the sun. Very summery and perfect for the morning.
I bought it today on sale at a local perfumerie. I liked it because it’s summery for the heat. I find it acidic, just quince at first, then more floral on the skin, but it hasn’t lasted long: about 2 hours, very skin-scented. It’s good, but I wouldn’t recommend it at full price. It’s very similar to Cyzone Spirit, only this one doesn’t last as long.
I received it in winter at a ridiculous price (11,000 pesos tester). Upon trying it, I thought the protagonist of ‘Perfume’ would be delighted embalming impressions; I almost heard the sand (undeclared) and felt a warm beach. Then, using it more, it seemed like a flower party in a hibiscus house: elegant yet fun, with pearls and amber cocktails, without excesses. Although I don’t know much about ‘solar notes’, it makes the flowers look happy. It’s not a simple aroma; it’s an excellent and harmonious composition. It lasts about 12 hours, transforming from a rave to after hours with the quince as the DJ. It arrived just when I wanted summer most, with impossible plans to go to the beach due to the pandemic. It’s a marvellous value for money; I want to try the whole brand. Added later: the quince scent is exactly like the tree ready for harvest, incredible.
Absolutely delicious, informal and different, with excellent staying power. It’s best on hot days when it comes across as even richer. Smells like a California beach.
Snatched it up on sale blind and what a surprise: sweet without being cloying, soft and fruity, perfect for summer. You can really detect the quince and the red berries. Very pretty, good price and longevity. Edit: after a few days, it smells like Chanel Eau Tendre.
Delicious, summery, fresh, sweet, youthful and revitalising. I love it. Hollister has very good perfumes. In terms of price-quality, it’s brilliant. It’s a very friendly aroma. Totally recommended as a gift. Tasty and economical.
I agree with @La DameDeNoir… it’s a sticky, sweet and powdery scent that has definitely improved. The solar notes, quince and poppy led me to buy it blindly at a very cheap price. It wasn’t terrible, simply didn’t win my heart. It could look good in spring as a daily wear; I could use it without issues but wouldn’t buy it again. If I can put on another perfume, I’ll go for another. I find it has an air to Ariana Grande’s Ari, which I also don’t like. My sister uses Ari and they smell very similar, like siblings, only Ari has a raspberry note.
I agree with @La DameDeNoir… it smells sticky, sweet, and powdery, and it has definitely improved a lot. The solar notes, quince, and poppy convinced me to buy it blind at a good price. It wasn’t terrible, but it didn’t win my heart. It could work well in spring for daily wear; I’d use it without issue, but I wouldn’t buy it again; if I can find something else, I’ll look for another. It reminds me of Ari by Ariana Grande, which I also dislike. My sister wears Ari, and they smell the same, like siblings, except Ari has raspberry.
I’ve given it many chances but I truly can’t stand it; it gives me a headache. It has an overly cloying note, perhaps the quince. Overall, it’s a fruity, sweet, powdery scent. It’s quite economical considering its longevity and sillage, but it’s a difficult fragrance to decipher.
I’ve given it many chances but I definitely can’t stand it; it gives me a headache. It has a too-sweet note, perhaps the quince. Overall, it’s a sweet, powdery fruity scent. It’s quite economical considering its longevity and trail, but it’s a difficult scent to decipher.
They gave it to me for my birthday in winter and I didn’t get into it until the heat. It’s totally summery: it smells like the beach, sand and hot days (I suppose that’s what they meant by ‘solar notes’). It’s certainly a good perfume that works; I’ll use it in summer, but I doubt I’ll buy it again as I’m a winter fan and prefer fresh, citrusy scents for summer. I also feel it works better for young teenagers, as it’s a super informal scent; I don’t identify with it much as I’m 30 and if I step foot on the beach once a year, that’s saying something, but I’d recommend it a lot for younger, carefree people.
They gifted it to me for my birthday in winter, and I didn’t like it until it got warm. It’s a totally summer fragrance: it smells like the beach, like sand and hot days (I suppose that’s what the ‘solar notes’ refer to). It’s a good working fragrance; I’ll use it in summer, but I doubt I’ll buy it again because I’m a winter lover and a fan of sweet scents; for summer, I prefer fresher and citrusier ones. I feel it suits young teenagers better, as it’s a super informal aroma. I don’t identify with it much since I’m 30 and if I step on the beach once a year, that’s saying a lot, but I’d highly recommend it for younger, carefree people.
How lovely! Super simple packaging and a sophisticated fragrance. It smells great and is totally off the usual olfactory maps. I treasure it for special occasions. It’s more for mid-season and summer, but if you don’t smoke or use aggressive creams, it fixes well on winter too.
At first, it smells quite citrusy, then the solar notes emerge with a soft sweetness from the crystal amber. It reminds me a lot of Swiss Army for her and the Tommy Hilfiger women’s fragrance. It’s summery, perfect for an afternoon strolling along the seaside.
On my skin, it’s quite fresh, maintaining a moderate scent of sandalwood, amber and a flower, perhaps Jamaica or orchid. It feels like a rich, creamy touch, but the starfruit and quince are very subtle. The longevity is intense and the trail is moderate, pleasant and subtle for those who like fresh perfumes like Victorinox or A&F. A blind buy doesn’t disappoint if you’re looking for something feminine and simple.
I gifted this to my wife for Christmas, bought it blind, and it delivered. It’s fresh, floral, with a sweet touch that doesn’t overwhelm. It has a youthful, flirtatious vibe that makes you feel incredibly comfortable around that person. The starfruit stands out initially, while the hibiscus in the heart lasts quite a while. It isn’t creamy; amber and solar notes dominate. My girlfriend wore it for about seven hours on her skin, perfect for summer days. I’d give it an 8/10.
I gifted it to my wife at Christmas, bought blindly, and it didn’t miss a beat. It’s fresh, floral and slightly sweet without being cloying. It’s youthful and coquettish, making you feel very comfortable with that person. Starfruit dominates at first, then hibiscus lingers for a good while. I don’t find it creamy; the base notes like amber and the solar notes prevail. My girlfriend wore it for about 7 hours on her skin. I liked it a lot for summer days. Rating 8/10.
I picked it up blindly because it was at an incredible price on RTV Argentina. I was surprised: it’s a feminine fragrance, clean, sweet and solar, absolutely gorgeous. I didn’t know the brand, but it was a hit for someone like me who seeks youthful and ethereal scents. I detect a fruity vibe; I’m sure the quince is what stands out most. As it dries down, tropical flowers emerge over a soft sandalwood that rounds it off. Ideal for those late spring days when the heat isn’t oppressive yet the sun is already felt.
Bought it blindly based on the price and the glowing reviews on Fragantica, and I have no regrets. It’s a special citrus fragrance; usually, perfumes like this seem identical and boring to me, but this one is very tropical with a hint of sweetness, super fresh and pleasant. The notes feel unique; it’s one of my favourites for summer.
