  • I bought it today. It is long-lasting, youthful, and suitable for daily wear. It resembles Lolita Lempicka’s Elle L’aime due to the coconut. Along with Armani Sun, the three of them make ‘summer’.

  • After testing it in the city and seeing it was not quite suitable, I tried it in its natural habitat: beach, humidity, and heat. Gentlemen, this is another story. It starts with a zesty, acidic, and sparkling mandarin that in minutes settles into a coconut cream, leaving the peach very in the background. Then the flowers appear, where the tiare is more of a generic white flower than realistic. After two hours, the base notes stand out: driftwood and beach sand. The entire evolution is supported by those beachy notes, but in the end, it leaves a skin scent after a day under the sun, salt water, and remnants of sunscreen. That smell that remains after a beach shower before the real one. You feel fresh, happy, and with that little marine touch. It is exactly the fragrance of that moment: holidays, nothing sweet or heavy, refreshing, and with that special ‘can’t quite put my finger on it’ inside the summer. Perfect for catching waves by day and remembering the day by night; quite versatile. Its performance is 2 hours with a soft trail and 3/4 close to the skin, but for me, it is no problem; I use it as a body mist with moisturiser. In the midst of Madrid’s heat, it still tastes good, but its home is by the sea to truly shine.

  • Between Gioia Sun and this one, I stick with the Armani. It smells very much of suntan lotion and the beach. The first Wave is delicious, but this one is only for when you are at the coast.

  • I just bought it blind and it turned out better than I expected. I love the coconut note; it is sweet, youthful, and elegant. Very good longevity, or at least on my skin.

  • First impression: I expected fruits and coconut, I only sense white flowers and I don’t like florals, I don’t know how I’ll wear it… luckily it didn’t cost me much.

  • It is the lighter version, less creamy and less long-lasting than Lolita Lempicka’s Elle L’aime. An excellent alternative since that original perfume is already discontinued.

An original, different, and super pleasant perfume. It smells of coconut, tiare flower, and has a salty touch of driftwood and sand. Nothing heavy or overpowering; ideal for the beach and summer; it smells like a holiday. Although it is versatile and can be worn all year round for everyday use, it is incredibly delicious and I have loved it. Moreover, it is economical and comes in a beautiful bottle and box, good quality, and stunning design. A total hit.

Original and super pleasant, smells of coconut, tiare flower, and a salty touch evoking driftwood and sand. Nothing heavy, ideal for the beach and summer, it smells like a holiday. Although versatile and wearable all year round, it’s incredibly rich and I’ve loved it. Plus, it’s economical, with a beautiful bottle and box, good quality, and lovely design. A hit!

The best advice on how to smell it: grab a large dog, take it to the beach, play with it in the sea, drive home with a towel underneath to avoid staining the car, and then smell the towel. That is the aroma of Hollister Wave 2. I have rarely encountered a cologne so unpleasant; it almost made me gag. If you want to save money, just rub your arm on a dog freshly bathed in the sea to achieve that smell.

  • Ugh, how lovely! It fills the room with tiare flower, smelling of the beach and holidays. In the background, you detect coconut and surfboard wax, a floral-fruity touch with a hint of peach. This is already my go-to perfume for heading to the coast. Just a word of caution: absolutely no doggy scent, that would be an insult to them and to this fragrance. Youthful, fresh, and I absolutely loved it.

  • It smells like a beach day where you’ve been in the sea, with traces of sand, sunscreen, and your perfume. It’s incredible, but they managed to capture the essence of a beach day and put it inside a bottle. It’s not the type of fragrance that smells clean and elegant; it’s a fragrance with a youthful spirit, very sensual! I find it very attractive to the opposite sex. It has a medium sillage, but it boasts excellent development; that is, its olfactory journey is anything but linear. Finally, it has very good longevity at a very accessible price. I recommend it without a doubt!

CAMIMALENA. Everyone has their own tastes; there are no ‘undeveloped noses’; that’s a way of discriminating against a person’s tastes. I didn’t buy a counterfeit because no one counterfeits perfumes from budget brands, and for me, it also smells bad; for me, it smells dirty.

  • This perfume was a blind buy. I acquired it for its coconut scent, and it surprised and pleased me greatly. It’s a sweet, warm, floral, fruity perfume, with the tiare flower, coconut, peach, and sand notes very marked. At first, it seemed very floral and slightly bitter, perhaps due to the sand note; finally, it settles into a creamy coconut and tiare flower scent. Very tasty and actually distinct; I liked it a lot. Curiously, I prefer wearing it in autumn and winter, as it has a warm touch that suits it very well. In summer, it bothers me a bit with so much heat, although I would still like to try it at the beach. Packaging 10/10: lovely colours and the bottle is heavy, solid glass with a metal cap; it looks high quality. Price-to-quality 10/10: I got it very cheap. Scent 10/10. Longevity 7/10. Sillage 7/10. Versatility 10/10: super versatile, the best thing about this perfume. It’s relaxed but without losing elegance; it could suit any situation and place.

Absolutely delicious. My brother gifted it to me for my birthday during the lockdown. I wanted it because I’m fascinated by scents with coconut, and well… let me tell you, it’s not 100% coconut! It’s more like white flowers, peach, and a bit of sand, all wrapped in a creamy, subtle, and warm beach coconut 🥥 🌴. It’s very lovely; I like it a lot. I don’t find it smells like sunscreen or anything similar; it has a warm, summery touch, but I find it looks beautiful in winter and I like it even more. Its price-to-quality ratio is excellent, and the bottle is gorgeous in my opinion; it looks high quality with the thick glass and metal cap. On Fragrantica in English, people find a honey scent 😂 I don’t, at all; I find it smells like the described notes.

  • I admit I’m addicted to the coconut and tiare notes in summer, and what a surprise this fragrance has been for me; I love it!! A low-cost perfume, perfect for afternoons on a terrace by the beach, with a longevity and sillage that are more than acceptable. Very happy with this purchase; I have it reserved to really enjoy this summer. Thanks for the reviews ❤❤❤

  • I received this perfume a couple of days ago. I saw many reviews praising it highly, as for almost everyone who loves summer perfumes, it has all those notes we adore smelling in summer. At first, the coconut nectar is very noticeable, which is the least I perceive, or at least on my pH; the fruits are not prominent. In the dry-down, all of them remain, marking the base: pure sand, driftwood, and the orchid. It’s not the typical perfume you compare to sunscreen; it’s the one you apply to your skin after a morning or afternoon of surfing, showering, and preparing for a cocktail. The coconut nectar makes it delicious, while the sand and driftwood make it so interesting, finished with the orchid which is the cherry on top, making it feminine. Without a doubt, I recommend it 🥥.

I tried a decant and didn’t like it. It didn’t disgust me, but I definitely wouldn’t buy it. On my skin, I don’t smell the coconut; just a salty touch and something like honey, but bitter. Not sweet. I give it a no.

This happens with this perfume: every time I use it, I smell it differently, swinging from love to hate, and that’s the only reason I haven’t gifted it. To clarify, none of my multiple personalities detect summer, coconut, or sunscreen scents… On days like today, it feels like a bowl of sweet fruit bathed in honey… and yes, I know there’s no honey in its notes, but on my skin it becomes honeyed and gourmand. Delicious!!! However, on other days, it assaults my nasal passages with the scent of overripe fruit, on the verge of fermentation, slightly vinegary… and I just can’t handle it. Perfume bipolarity at its finest.

  • It doesn’t smell like sunscreen at all. Right after applying, I can clearly distinguish the coconut and the tiare flower; once it dries on my skin, it becomes more sweet and slightly citrusy, giving way subtly to the flowers. A very rich fragrance that I could say is the most summery version of Aqua di Gioia. I loved it.

Days like today, it seems to me a sweet fruit salad bathed in honey… yes, I know there’s no honey, but on my skin it becomes honeyed and gourmand. Delicious. A disappointment. I bought it blindly because I can no longer get VS body splashes with coconut in my country, and I was advised to buy this instead. Yet, I don’t smell any perfume, coconut, tiare, or summer fragrance with a sunscreen vibe; it smells like those colognes they used to give you at ten years old. It smells like nothing; I can’t distinguish a single note. If I have to say something, it smells like wet wood, like a wet fruit crate from the greengrocer.

  • Manuela2020

I live by the sea and this fragrance smells of beach to me, just like that, with its sand, some coconut, sea breeze and something I can’t distinguish, a sweetish background. During the day it bothers me a bit, but in the afternoon/evening on the terrace facing the sea I’ve liked it. Fortunately for me it doesn’t smell like sunscreen or anything of the sort, because I’m very fed up with that kind of scent.

  • Love at first sniff, how rich please, how original. It smells of summer and beach, but refined and of good quality, not like Escada’s which last two minutes. This lasts hours, with projection and trail, breezy yet elegant…

  • I bought it blind, a blunder. If you’re attracted by the coconut scent, you won’t find it here; not even tiare flower, for nothing. It’s a poor composition. It smells only of sand and waterlogged salty wood. Even to me it seems a bitter aroma, the kind you feel in your mouth. Try it before buying, because I think it’s not a popular taste and it doesn’t suit every skin.

  • I bought it blindly, a gross mistake. If you’re attracted by the coconut scent, you won’t find it here, nor tiare flower, not at all. This scent is a poor composition. I feel it only smells of sand and waterlogged salty wood. Even it seems to me a bitter scent, of those you feel in your mouth. Try it before buying, I think it’s not a popular taste and it doesn’t suit all skin types.

  • Perfumadict

There is some nectar, yes, sharp. The coconut is coconut water, nothing gourmand or sweet. The rest is as they said below: a salty sensation in the mouth, mixed with the bitterness of the wood and the sand. They took the worst of the beach and mixed it with lots of freesia, and the result is bad. It smells cheap. After five minutes it becomes a tolerable floral, but the opening, noooo! After thirty minutes, goodbye, it’s gone, not even when pressing my nose to the skin.

  • Mariposa_nocturna30

I love it, I never thought I’d say ‘oh, it smells like Cancún or Playa del Carmen’. It’s that kind of white sand beach with turquoise waters. Ideal for a sunny day with the salt note very present; if you don’t like that note, run away, because on my skin it stands out quite a bit, just like the coconut which gives it an exquisite creaminess. Then white flowers appear that I can’t identify, but they give the sensation of a woman with a flower in her hair drinking coconut water in Cancún, haha. Everything is very good until an hour passes and I feel nothing, not even pressing my nose to my arm. The only good thing is that in Chile you can get it for around $10 or less if it’s a tester and it doesn’t hurt to reapply. Without a doubt, it’s more for personal enjoyment than for going out.

  • Vahernandezz

It’s so hard to describe. I bought it blind based on the notes and the truth is, at first it smells very original. In the opening, I smell the sweet tiare (I think due to the peach) a lot. It reminds me of the Monoi sold on Easter Island, super breezy and beautiful. Then the flowers fade and the sand appears; I don’t dislike it, but it doesn’t seem to harmonise entirely. If it gives you that realistic feeling of sun on the beach with natural Monoi oil, that’s fine, but the sand note becomes predominant and it’s not my favourite. Anyway, it smells rich, it’s a beach and sea day with delicate white flowers. The coconut water adds something delicious and harmonious, very aquatic. Without a doubt, it’s interesting and different, you have to give it a chance. I tested it for several days before reviewing it to analyse it properly. For me, it’s an island day under the sun, super realistic and it transports me. I see it more for holidays or summer afternoons, because the sand intensifies with the heat, but in cooler evenings it’s very rich. I do recommend it and I think it deserves its place in the collection for that realism. EDIT: As I use it more, I fall in love with it every day. In a world where almost everyone smells the same, this is a gem; it’s pure beach. A realistic holiday experience on an island. I love it.

  • Neftalí

It smells lovely and different. When I don’t want to complicate things and just want to smell good and soft, this is what I put on.

  • Karen Campos

I just put it on and, at least when I went out, it smells very much like Mancera’s Roses Greedy. The top and heart notes are almost identical. I don’t have the Mancera, but it’s my mum’s perfume so I know it by heart. We’ll see how it dries down and I’ll wear it for a few days.

  • I tried it yesterday looking for something like Coco Paradise by B&BW and it was a total fiasco. It’s floral with a very strong orchid scent; there’s no trace of coconut and zero beach or surf vibe. A decent floral, but nothing more.
