I like this fragrance; I feel it’s ideal for spring. The sweetness of the mandarin is soft, mixed with jasmine and a final touch of sandalwood that makes it incredibly irresistible.
It’s one of the few fruity perfumes I’ve liked. To me it smells of jasmine and roses; I sense something creamy, very pleasant and feminine. In reality, I don’t detect mandarin. The only thing is that on my skin it doesn’t last long. Edit: it has become one of my favourites; I don’t know if due to changes in skin chemistry or hormonal cycles, but there are days it lasts longer. It’s muuuy pleasant and damn good.
Very rich, long-lasting, and leaves a feminine touch wherever you go.
Fresh and sweet, like sweet citrus with jasmine and a base of spices, I think that’s the musk. It’s wonderful, my summer perfume. But it lasts so little; they should make one of it.
This fragrance is another of my loves because I identify with it so much; my friends associate me with it. I love its sweet and creamy scent; the lychee and blackcurrants give it that exquisite touch, then the roses with jasmine make it truly delicious. It’s for those days when you feel sweet, tender, and sensual. On my skin it lasts more than 12 hours.
The perfume, the bottle, and the name didn’t catch my eye at all. But when I smelled it, I was impressed. It’s creamy, slightly floral, fresh and sweet, with the cleanliness that the musk brings.

I bought it and it’s 100% feminine; at first it smells like champagne, a total liqueur, but then the real perfume emerges. Ideal for everyday wear, very womanly, without a doubt. I wouldn’t recommend it for evening as you lose your edge and don’t make an impression, but for lunch with friends during the day it’s excellent.
Very pleasant combination of jasmine and lychee, with a soft touch of mandarin. Feminine, creamy and sweet without being cloying, a real discovery. What I dislike the most is the bottle; I find it too simple and boring for the so coquettish perfume it contains.
A very pleasant combination of jasmine and lychee, with a soft touch of tangerine. A feminine, creamy and sweet fragrance without being cloying; a real discovery. What I dislike most is the bottle; I find it too simple and boring for such a charming perfume it contains.
It was love at first sight and then an unfaithful love. I was about to buy Boss Nuit, which I had tried and liked its development, but suddenly that simple bottle caught my attention, as if they didn’t want to try too hard. I tested it and told the sales assistant, ‘I’m not taking the Nuit anymore.’ I wondered if the development wasn’t to my taste, but it was the opposite. I use it carefully because my boyfriend is fascinated by it, but I agree that they should release it as an EDP… It lasts only a few hours! (30/08/15) Update 09/10/23: Ayayay XX, we meet again, eight years later… I find you living a life I never imagined, not even the place. Yet you return to me just as I remember you, warm and charming, very intimate with a soft, welcoming sweetness… Work is constant stress, but my memories of being twenty-five and this perfume tell me ‘everything turns out well in the end’. With its sillage clinging to the skin and intermittent longevity, it disappears quickly but reappears unexpectedly in the afternoon after finishing reports… ‘don’t forget’ it says playfully. It’s totally for personal enjoyment and full of memories for me. However, it’s a respectful scent and nothing revolutionary, suitable for many tastes.

I tried it and told the sales assistant: ‘I’m not taking the Nuit anymore’. I turned it over in my mind in case the evolution didn’t suit me, but it was the opposite. I find you living a life you never imagined, but you return to me just as I remember you, warm and coquettish, very intimate and with welcoming sweetness. Work is constant stress, but my memories of the 25th year and this perfume tell me ‘everything ends well’. Very feminine yet very generic; I feel it lacks something, although the longevity is excellent… However, I wouldn’t wear it again.
XX is another delicious fragrance from Hugo Boss; I don’t know how they manage to keep their scents lingering in the mind. Although my signature scent is something else, I don’t hold any grudge against any of this designer’s creations.
It’s one of my favourites; it’s not the classic fruity floral, it has good longevity and I absolutely love it.
Long-lasting, floral, and creamy. I owned it some time ago and smelled it again yesterday… so many memories! It’s quite penetrating, almost overpowering, so you need to be careful with the amount you spray to avoid being cloying. It’s sweet and has a very distinct scent; I don’t know another that resembles it. The sandalwood wraps everything up subtly. The longevity is moderate; it’s strong at first, and after five or six hours, you need to reapply it.
Delicious; I want to have it again.
You never get tired of smelling it; it doesn’t fatigue the senses, and the trail it leaves on the skin is lovely, putting me at peace.
I see it as super feminine, discreet, and delicate.
What a lovely coincidence! This scent is exquisite: feminine, delicate, and incredibly pleasant without being overpowering. It has that creamy jasmine that made me fall in love with Alien, but it’s much more wearable. I’m surprised they classify it as fruity; it’s the first one in my collection with that note. It’s a pity it doesn’t last more than 2-3 hours and requires reapplication. It reminds me of CK Euphoria Endless, although the notes don’t quite match. A wonderful fragrance in such a simple bottle that looks like a joke.
Incredible, adorable, and a beautiful aroma!
Hugo XX has a protagonist note: basmati rice, which smells like cooking spices, leaning towards curry, astringent from the start. Then comes a juicy fruity note that doesn’t last more than two minutes, it must be lychee. In the heart phase it intensifies along with jasmine and rose, making the perfume sweet; the jasmine dominates but the rose lingers, all covered with sandalwood which adds more sweetness, with musk that makes it almost powdery, finishing with sweet traces of amber. Hugo XX is a mass-market scent, but not generic. The quality stands out because within mass-market perfumes there is also excellence. Its scent is timeless, but it stands out more at night. It doesn’t fit for sport or beach, but yes for office, social meetings, and casual. It reminded me of catalogue perfumes like Mithyka by L’Bel or Dulce Vanidad by Yanbal, which also have quality but remain generic due to shared sweet notes (rose, jasmine, sandalwood). However, Hugo XX doesn’t feel synthetic; it’s soft, slightly sweet, feminine, almost powdery, for women in the full bloom of life, neither too nor too far. My review is for an eau de toilette, it lasts a long time and makes itself noticed gently. In conclusion, recommended; it doesn’t seduce but doesn’t disappoint either. I think the cooking spice note is what gives it personality.
Since I tried it in 2006 it hasn’t left my collection. I don’t find it similar to another; I think it’s the rice that gives it that special touch. I perceive it very soft, talc-like, and it lasts all day. What I like most is that I haven’t heard it on another person; perhaps it’s the bottle that doesn’t attract so much attention.
Fresh, feminine, soft, and sweet fragrance; no note stands out. I describe it as a cocktail of tropical fruits with flowers balanced with neatness; a subtle sweetness that accompanies you for several hours. I used it until I couldn’t find it in the counters and ended up looking for it. What I liked most is that it’s easy to wear, for any occasion, and better for the day.
Rich… it’s not sexy or seductive, nothing spectacular. Strong at first but zero projection, although it has longevity on the skin. Lots of floral scent, fresh and clean, like someone just bathed. For daily, informal, casual use, any age or season, ideally in warm climates. I bought it blind based on references and I don’t regret it. I’ll enjoy it until it runs out, but I won’t buy it again.
I liked it, although I gave it away because they sold me a copy and the scent changed. I kept it for a long time; when I wore it people asked what perfume it was. Like the Hugo Boss ones, it had presence. To me, it seems more floral than fruity, but above all more woody and oriental.
It’s fresh, floral, delicate, and delicious; it has become my favourite. I receive many compliments when I wear it.
It has projection, is quite strong, creamy, and lasts for hours; even my clothes stay perfumed. If I enter my room, Hugo appears among all the perfumes. It’s more floral than fruity, suitable for nights or cold days. It’s elegant, for someone confident; you’ll leave a mark and receive compliments, very feminine. In my case, it overwhelms me a bit, so I apply only two drops. Recommended.
It’s tender, delicate, and exquisite! It seems very similar to Gucci Guilty EDT.
I finished it and already loved it! Love at first sniff. I adored it. It’s super feminine, floral, and as it dries down it becomes sweet without being overpowering. It drew a lot of attention from men and I received nice compliments; I’m sure they find it sexy. I’d recommend it for summer; although it’s sweet, it has fresh touches and is easy to wear for going out, dining, or to the cinema. I’d buy it again in spring to use it when it’s hot.
I don’t know why I see a resemblance to 212 and Gucci Guilty; they’re of the same style. Very good scent, urban and dynamic yet feminine. In this case, the eau de toilette lasts 20 minutes on my skin. That’s why I wouldn’t buy it again. I haven’t tried the EDT.
It leaves me indifferent. It’s a white floral, creamy, with quite musky notes. Super lovely for everyday wear and very versatile. Ideal for over 25s. I prefer juicier and sparklier scents.
It has a soft scent, but it’s a very weak fragrance in terms of trail and longevity; on skin it only lasts 30 minutes. I wouldn’t buy it again, although the price is accessible.
I tried it on a dupe because it’s no longer sold here, but it’s an absolute delight, so I suppose they’re similar. Its scent is soft, feminine and smells like freshly bathed. The trail is moderate, leaning towards sweet, and I sense a slight resemblance to Cancán, probably due to the tangerine. I’d buy the original version because I expect that to have more trail and longevity. It’s one of those perfumes you can’t find everywhere that’s worth the effort.
I first smelled it on my mum’s skin years ago and found it exquisite and timeless. As we always went out together, I didn’t want to add it to my collection so as not to look like perfume-twin sisters. The bottle ran out and I forgot about it, until a friend used it and I caught the scent again. It was like reuniting with a platonic love; I recognised it instantly. It only smells of roses to me, and after bad experiences with perfumes that smell like nothing, I didn’t hesitate to buy it without guilt. It’s soft but lasts a long time on my skin; sweet but not cloying; fresh and warm at the same time, in just the right measure. It’s creamy and feminine above all. Its charm is that it’s not sexy or wild like Sofia Loren, but sensual and delicate like Grace Kelly. A 10!!!
I bought it blind again and I quite liked it. It maintains a balance between fruits and flowers. It’s elegant for formal events but also for everyday wear. The balance of its notes makes it a good fragrance at a reasonable price with decent longevity. The bottle is quite heavy, so be careful when holding it.
It’s floral and fruity, fresh. I’ve always wanted it; when I tried it on another girl, it smelled delicious, a rich, clean scent. But it doesn’t suit me the same way and, besides, it gives me an allergy.
I tried it on at my sister’s today and, on the way home, I tried to remember which of my scents it resembled… until my olfactory memory did some magic 🥹. It’s very similar to my beloved Elf Essence by Jesús de Pozo, which they no longer produce. I was longing to find something like this and today I’ve finally managed it 💓.
I truly love it! I look after it like it’s the apple of my eye. I have many perfumes and this is undoubtedly one of my favourites. I wish everyone had it because it’s worth every penny to smell like this.
I’ve had this since its launch and it’s an absolute beast. Smelling it again today left me speechless: my goodness. It has a power and presence that simply don’t exist anymore. It’s for going out to ‘kill it’—super sexy and with your outfit on point; it will leave everyone at your feet.
