It’s one of my favourite citrus scents for everyday wear. Straight out of the bottle, it smells like Versace Pour Homme with a brutal citrus explosion. As it settles, it leaves a very pleasant trail with oakmoss, patchouli, and spicy floral notes. I recommend it to men looking for something fresh for the office. I don’t see it as very unisex… The trail and longevity are decent for its price (from 24-25 euros). My final rating is 7.5.

I tried it and at first I disliked it: it was sharp, spicy, metallic and very plastic/chemical. I wore it a bit more and, although it remains quite artificial and unpleasant, I understand someone might like it, basically because it fades in intensity and becomes more bearable. In the end, I gave it a chance.

  3. Thank goodness I managed to get this fragrance from the 2005 batch. Armand Basi In Blue is described as woody and spicy, but in my opinion it also has aromatic and aquatic nuances. It has a slight resemblance to Bulgari Aqva, which coincidentally came out the same year. It’s ideal for spring and summer. I loved wearing it to work in the morning; its bamboo scent made me feel vigorous and relaxed at the same time. Besides, I got many compliments from the girls.
