Smells excellent, though it will divide opinion. The star is neroli, accompanied by ambroxan, cashmeran and musk, with a cardamom that adds a clean touch. It’s hard to define, but it’s a crisp, musky neroli with an intentional synthetic edge to look sophisticated and futuristic. Some might call it ‘robotised neroli’, but I like it. It shares that point between elegant and sporty with its sibling, Armand Basi Homme. It resembles Nikos Sculpture, but is more fussy, ambiguous and unisex. The issue is that the performance is just adequate; although they claim it has projection and medium longevity, on my skin it fades to skin-level quickly, though it lasts longer on clothes. I see it as suitable for work and more versatile than it appears (it works for almost all seasons).
